Ah, dogs. Mans best friend. Of course, we know that dogs can sit, lay, and stay, but what happens when we step into their world? -- Stray dogs are everywhere, we know that. But now it is time to be one of those dogs. We are in a abandoned city, surrounded by long meadows that are filled with scrawny horses and cows. Even though they are hungry and skinny, no dog wants to come across these horses and cows unless they are desperate for food. Then what is keeping this city abandoned is lake that surrounds the city in a circle. The only way out is by boat. Unfortunately though, people with boats that no longer want their dogs find that this place is perfect to abandon their dogs. All around the lake is a thin strip of woods which is constantly fought over by the dogs. The main pack of dogs is called 'Howlers', but most dogs just fight for themselves, scared to be in a pack with rules. Some of the main threats to the Howlers are other packs of dogs, angry bull cows, angry horses,debris, and sicknesses. The main food sources of the Howlers are female cows (not with calves), left out food from the humans, the stray deer that are now in the city, and anything else they can find. The pack Howler usually moves around, but their main camp is inside of a large abandoned building that seems like it's break at any moment, a place where no other dogs would go. The building has three stories, counting the ground floor. The ground floor is just one large, empty room while the two upper stories have four bedrooms each. On the second story though there is an extra room that the puppypets (dogs that used have owners) call a 'kitchen'. The Howlers store their food in there, and guard it at all times.

If you are in a pack, you must follow some simple rules, but these rules go for loners too!
1. All of Tess's rules apply
2. When mating/birthing fade to black
3. No godmodding/powerplaying/perfect dogs. No dogs are perfect and this is a realistic roleplay
4. You MAY be your own mate but you MAY NOT be your own crush, it just keeps things uncomplicated.
5. Please try to be active, I understand if you are going on vacation or something but please PM me beforehand
6. You may lightly cuss, but please remember this is a website and roleplay for all ages.
7. Please post at least 2 sentences per post.
8. You may have as many characters as you please but keep up with them
9. All ooc stuff must be bracketed off
10. Please respect the other role players and don't kill off their character without their consent
11. If you want something big to happen, please PM me!~
12. All sexualities of dogs are welcome, I know not many dogs are anything but straight but I think this rule is okay when it comes to role playing

RECAP - STARTING PAGE 11
After capturing Valentine, Spike, Dutch, and Chilly bring her to their stone camp. After bringing her there, Dutch accidently lets the puppy slip from his grasp and starts chasing after her. Meanwhile, Beldig and Mia are both at the Howler's camp. Beldig goes out to hunt while Mia feels her old age creeping up on her. Eclipse, the puppy Danger and History brought to camp, runs away in full-blown rain. The puppy hurts herself, only to be found by the frightened History. History brought her back to camp while Dutch tells Valentine to run away so he won't harm her. Eventually, Valentine runs away and meets Talon, getting hurt while with him. Talon takes Valentine as his responsibility as he tries to find her pack. There are also now Mountain Lions on the prowl as Ares and Shade beg for food then hear Talon's roar as he finds berries for the feverish Valentine. Also, after Dutch released Valentine, he and Spike started calling for Lona, Koda, and Winter to come to their campgrounds.

Personality; He seems like an old soul in a young body, he doesn't say much but he sees the beauty in everything and usually talks about how pretty the simplest things are. Even though he does seem old, there is a puppy flare on him that quite doesn't match with the rest of his personality.
History; History was born from two rugged dogs that neither of them wanted a puppy. So on the coldest night of the year, they left History at the doorstep of the Howlers without a name or anything. Mia took him in and gave him his name after learning his personality, before that she just called him Puppy. Now she lets him raise himself, for she is getting old.

Personality; Bledig is both a big dog and a fighter, so he must have a scary, dark personality, right? Well, not exactly. Bledig is actually a giant teddy bear, he loves pups and anyone who gets close to him- stay a five foot radius unless you want to be love-slobbered on! But that is why he is a fighter, he has such a huge heart for his pack so he'll protect it with his life. If you somehow get on his bad side though, I have one word for you. Run.
History; Bledig was a guard dog for a family for about a year until the family stopped giving him food. They brought him to a no-kill shelter hoping he'd get a good home. The no-kill shelter though was out of room for dogs. To keep up their reputation as a no-kill, they dropped off Bledig and other dogs off at the abandoned city. Bledig thankfully found Howlers and was welcomed into their pack.

Basic Description: Scrawny, with golden eyes, brown legs, and floppy ears.
Personality: Strong, Smart, A good hunter and fighter, Not easily defeated in both ways, and caring.
History: Lona was a known fighter dog. She was raised to the top, with no scars. She didn't like killing dogs for no reason/Human purposes, but her owner beat her, almost to death if she didnt. She escaped soon after she had been almost beaten to death, not caring of what happened to her owner.

Personality;Danger is an aggressive, Aloof, Independent, And clever brute. He can be mischievous with his ways and quick on his paws. He prefers to not be the starter of a conversation, due to him being so independent, he would most likely turn away if a dog was to confront him. Danger can be quite rude and upfront when you first meet him, but if your able to break his horrible barrier, then you may just be his friend, or more. Although he would do anything for his pack mates.
History;Danger was born as a purebred, once he was old enough to not nurse from his mother, he was sold to a fight house owner. Growing up to be a fighter, the Doberman soon grew his aggressive ways and became a cold aggressive fighter, that he is today. He was most appreciated by his owner and was adored by the man, due to him being the best fighter as of now. It all tumbled down when his owner was token away by the police, and animal control came. The Doberman was lucky enough to get out of the mans grasp.
