Nena was sat down, sunbathing. The sun felt amazing on her perfectly groomed pelt, that was until... splash! Nena, was pounced on. She landed into a small puddle of mud. Seeing Koda, she began laughing. ''Not for long!'' She said,
rolling out from under Koda, and began playfully pulling on Koda's ear. Nena's beautiful light-golden coat, had turned into a dark brown mess.

Mac tilted his head. "Aye, but oane question. What's so bad aboot combinin' lands?" he asked. "Think aboot it: strength in numbers. That's how t'herds survive." Malcolm couldn't help it much if he was being insubordinate. He was a small dog and had only made it this for by striking fast and striking hard and never quite giving in.

Atlas groaned he began to awake. He rolled over and stretched, the sun striking his eyes causing him to rub his face with his paws. The winter air gnawed at his body, nonetheless it felt great outside. The ground was cold, not bothering him one bit. He padded out of his den and surveyed the area, a few pack members were discussing nearby, although he decided not pitch in.

"Well, I'll leave you to your duties." She barked, dipping her head in farewell. She trotted back into her den, spotting Zodiac still asleep. She rolled her eyes and smiled. She walked up to him and prodded him in the side. "Wake up sleepy head."

Ashton yawned, his sharp white teeth glinting in the morning sun. He blinked and looked around and spotted Atlas casually walking about. "Hello, Atlas." He called "How are you this morning?"

Noloki shook his pelt slightly, to get off some dirt that was sticking to his fur. ''We clearly, don't want to team up with enemies. I'm fine, with teaming up with fellow associate packs, but enemies are no exception what-so-ever. Our pack, rises above other packs. Besides our low numbers, we are the top pack in this area and we plan to keep it that way. But, we aren't invincible.
There have been times, were we were very close to be defeated. But despite that, we won't give up our territory. Even if it means dying.'' He said, sounding quite wise.

Tenrou nodded his head in agreement. ''I agree.'' He said, looking over at Noloki. He crouched down to get to Malcolm's height. ''Noloki, can be deceiving. Under that kind, wise fur of his, there is a beast waiting to be unleashed. He's beat me in a spar over 45 times, and has saved our pack from destruction so many times i've lost count. He's really a legend to behold. Never been beaten in a battle. He's a real male. He's kind of scary if you ask me. Some friendly advice.. Stay off his bad side.'' Tenrou whispered.

"I'm alright, a little hungry." Atlas laughed slightly. "Did you hear about what they were talking about over there?' he questioned, Atlas didn't want to barge into their discussion so abruptly, yet he still wanted to know what was discussed .

for a good part of the morning the alpha had been asleep. not that the brute
had gotten much sleep the night before. a sigh escaped his maw as his mind
was wracked with multiple problems the pack had to worry about. things that
kept a dog thinking about late into the night. he didn't show it, but he was
concerned with all the talks from the other packs wanting to take his pack's
territory and ally together into one mega pack. zak snorted at the thought, he
wouldn't let his pack's hard work go to waste only to step down from his rank
and let his family bend to the laws of another dog. he didn't know how another
dog would rule, like a tyrant or dictator? or for all he knew they could be fair.
he didn't want to take the chance, even with his dwindling pack size. a feminine
voice pulled him from his daze. aspen. his dark eyes widened slightly as he
quickly sat up and smiled slightly at her presence. "good morning," he grinned,
ear flicking back at her joke. "i guess you've been beating me lately in waking
up," he chuckled and stood up. he walked over towards the entrance and out
of the den, nuzzling her cheek in greeting.

the cream colored female had been up for a good part of the morning, minding
her time. she was constantly on the guard. no one knew when other packs
would try to ambush their small, but thriving pack. the collie mix sighed softly
as she watched the pack grow more lively as the morning went on. she caught
wind of few conversations as members joined and dispersed over time. it seemed
the big topic today was the recent attacks targets towards their pack. of how
the other packs wanted to converge into one large pack. she knew her brother
hardly approved of the idea. he cared too much for the pack, they were like a
family to him. shaking her head, lass turned towards a nearby pair talking. atlas
and ashton. she didn't know much about the lead assassin, she respected him and
stayed out of his way. he wasn't an assassin for nothing. atlas she was familiar
with, another sentinel. they had worked a few patrols together. her ears perked
up as her hackles raised and she found herself padding over to them. "if i
remember, they were just talking about the recent fights and how other packs
have been wanting our's to joined them," she informed him.

Tenrou, got back up to his own height, and noticed a group of 3 dogs socializing. Two Sentinels, and the Lead Assassin. He made his way over to the group. ''Good morning Ashton, Atlas, Lassie. Did you all sleep well?'' He asked, in a kind tone.

Koda yelps as her 'prey' wiggles out from underneath her and nips her ear. She leaps into the muddy puddle and sends droplets of mud flying everywhere. "We should cover someone in mud!" She yips, glancing around to find her next victim.
