aphrodite tilted her head to the side as thunder spoke. she listened to every word he said, nodding along with what he said. she could tell that he was a bit uncomfortable by the way he was shifting his weight around. i must be asking too many questions. aphrodite stayed sitting, wrapping her tail around her paws. i dont know who or what made you run away, but just know that youve found someone to call a friend and someone that accepts you! the she-cat said, wondering where it was that thunder came from. hes a wolf, so he most likely came from a pack. maybe he ran away because he was an omega, not cared for or loved. she thought to herself. hearing the second part of what thunder said aphrodite jumped up to her paws. i can show you around then! she excidtedly said, pausing. of course that is if you want to be shown around.

sitting in her cave demeter stared at the entrance. the frigid air filtered into her cave, and she hated it. the cold was always her enemy. she preferred the summer, with sunny skies, warm temperatures, and the forest full of life. winter was too calm, too cold, and too still for her liking. heaving a big sigh the female climbed out of her bed which was made of skins of her prey. she stretched out her joints and blinked sleep from her eyes. peeking her head out of her cave demeter looked around with distaste. everything was covered in the freezing white powder. sliding out of her den demeter headed straight for the woods. she was hungry and it had been a few days since she had last eaten. perking her ears up demeter was able to hear tiny scratching coming from nearby. turning toward demeter inched toward it. at the base of tree sat a squirrel chewing on a nut. snapping forward demeter grabbed the rodent in her mouth, killing it quickly. after a few moment demeter had eaten the squirrel. now that she had eaten demeter started to head back to her cave.

its nice to meet you marie. atlas said in response. finally atlas had relaxed, the tension in his muscles melting away. this cat seemed kind enough and trustworthy, for now that is. he was about to turn and leave, feeling that this interaction was over, but marie suddenly trotted up to him, inviting him to go hunting with her. atlas hesitated, thinking. it was going to be hard to find something to catch, but the cat had a point. with an extra set of claws there was a better chance at finding something to eat. plus, if they only caught enough for one then atlas could munch on some berries instead and let marie have the prey. i think hunting together is a good idea. he finally said. which way should we head?

He wandered through the forest and scented the air again, hoping to find prey. Although, what Saffron caught scent of was exactly the opposite of what he wanted to scent and his worst fear -- a wolf. Hackles raised, he glanced around and noticed a cave not far away. That was where the scent was emanating from. Rushing off to hide behind a bush, he peeked out and wondered if the wolf had seen them yet. Saffron really didn't want to get into another fight with a wolf, especially when he was very weak and hungry. I can smell prey though, he thought, and his eyes fixated on the squirrel carcass that was left outside the cave. If I could at least eat the scraps and get my strength back...

Misty noticed a small fox peering into the den. "I'm going to let her in if it doesn't bother you." she said. "Come on in Fox, it is cold outside. What is your name?" she asked the fox. "I have no intention eating either of you by the way," she said, making it clear. I just need a place to sleep for a while, as I need to recover. she added silently. The snow wasn't stopping anytime soon though, so she would most likely just have to make a den of her own if the fox in the den disapproved of the idea of letting them stay the night.

Thunder nodded, grateful to know there was someone who accepted him as a friend. "Sure. I would most definitely enjoy that. Is there a place where there is a lot of prey?" he asked the she-cat. I am starving after the traumatic experience with some animals down by the River... luckily this was the forest, and Thunder was more used to the prey and such, rather the river... [i]I have found out that fish is one of the worst foods ever.
