eight blossoming royals, all to be wed. four royals, four peasants deemed worthy.
two of each gender and social status. the time has come for the four royals to
consider their status and duty to their country. rather than courting for each royal
individually, their parents have decided to arrange a new system, placing the four
royals and four noble peasants into the same pool, where they are given many the
chance to meet one another, try a relationship, and make an informed decision.
each person in this pool is to cast their vote in favor of one person at the end of it
all, and if the other person casts their vote for them, they will be paired. the couples
needn't be royal / peasant. they can be royal / royal or peasant / peasant, as well. it
is all up to fate. no matter what, each person is contractually obligated to choose.

however, it isn't just a selection for marriage. it's a little more interesting than that.
once couples are formed, they will all then be scrutinized and judged, trying to find the
next pair to rule the kingdom. this could perhaps be an easy decision, but each potential
suitor in this situation has drama surrounding them, not to mention history with at least
one other person in the pool. you all will be left to deal with each other, your drama, a
difficult choice, the potential chance to rule, and tabloids there to report it all.

✰ literacy :: this roleplay is semi-literate, which means that a minimum of two
detailed paragraphs should be posted with every response. preferably more should be
posted, but we all get writer's block sometimes.

✰ characters :: maximum two characters per person. characters should be between
the ages of eighteen and twenty two. also, characters don't have to be heterosexual. just
because they're supposed to end up in a heterosexual marriage doesn't mean they have to
like it!

✰ faceclaims :: all pictures used for characters must be of real people - no cartoons
or anime.

✰ activity :: if you are inactive for three-four days, you will receive a warning pm.
If you do not respond by the date provided, you will be removed from the thread.

✰ planning :: plan as much as you possibly can! this thread thrives off drama! post
on the discussion thread, pm people, whatever it takes!

✰ reservations :: reservations last twenty four hours before the spot opens up again.

✰ character choices :: please do not try to change up an entire plot by focusing all
the attention on your character [unless that was pre-planned]- in other words, melodrama
is annoying. romance is allowed, so long as it does not go into graphic detail. pregnancy is
allowed as well.
