The story is basic...




Within the small town of River's Edge, Idaho, there lives a group of rather unique teenage couples. Collectively they seem ordinary, but when compared to the rest of the town's population, they are definitely peculiar: Their lives are centered around music and the arts; their clothing is dark; their hair is fluffed and teased into manes of ebony glory.

That's right. These ten boys and girls are emo/scene.

Conservative neighbors preach conformity. Tourists encourage hope. Drama destroys it all. But one question remains...

What will happen to you and your young lover?

That's right! Yet another emo RP has descended upon Chicken Smoothie. It may also be considered a matchmaker-ish RP as I will be assigning couples as based on a random generator, but...all in all, focus on the element of personal fun and entertainment.

Just to keep things running smoothly:

All Tess and site rules apply.
This includes fading to black at the appropriate time, being aware of "legal" ages, and limiting the use of foul language (just use a different word; there won't be any starring out here).

No god-modding, power playing, Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus, or falling in love with your own character.
All these aspects of role playing are unfair and extremely rude, not to mention that absolute perfection is an impossibility.

You may create your own forms for TWO characters, but...
Please don't use any fonts that are difficult to read or GIFs- especially no GIFs. Also, please make your character within the 16-18 age group.

Please no homosexual characters.
I am literally the last person that has an issue with gay people, but in the interest of keeping this role play running, please no fully homosexual characters. Note that I did not forbid bisexual/pansexual/etc. characters...
If you have an issue with this rule, by all means PM me.

Three sentence participation is key.
I won't monitor when you reply or how long/short your post is, but please provide something for the rest of us to base our replies off of. If you incessantly reply with five word posts, again, this is extremely rude and I may have to ask you to step it up or leave.

Literacy...
This is a semi-lit RP, meaning chatspeak is a no no NO unless your character is texting/typing/etc. (Please see the above rule as well.) Also, OOC chat should be limited to recaps. If you absolutely must share how adorable your cat is being/communicate to your friend that he/she has to return your iPod, then do take advantage of private messaging. It's not that difficult to use.

I reserve the right to administer to the requirements and vitality of this role play.
As such, if I feel you must be removed from the role play, do not fight me. I will give you an explanation, and that should be the end of it. In addition, please do not move on more than three pages without me.

He wanted me back, but my aunt didn't trust him with a 8 year old. See my dad abused my mum, and end up killing her brother. Yea, messed up family. Anyways, my dad was mad because he couldn't have me. So he broke in and stole me, he moved to London. Like my aunt predicted, he abused me. When I was 14 I ran away back to Mullinger. My aunt was so happy to see me. But people
didn't really trust me. I don't know why, they just didn't. Every one seemed to hate me to. Well when I was 16 almost 17 I went to the store. I saw a couple of my bullies and started to worry. I tried to rush out, but one put something in my purse. When I walked out the store. The beeping went off. I had o go to court and everything. I was bullied for a while and call a theft. No one went to my birthday party. I was 17 and 3 months when rn away to come here. So far I got 3 friends.

Dara is a self reserved girl who has few to no friends,which is how she prefers it. She cant stand getting picked or or fighting,leaving her with a small tolerance level and a short temper. She refuses to speak when is angry and if you try to talk to her she will simply walk away giving her the stubborn trait. If you get to know her though, she is kind and is just another whom is 'oddly' placed in terms of likes and dislikes.

When she is happy she writes poems and sketches which is about all she does in her spare time.She also LOVES cats and horses...alot!

Past:
When Dara was roughly 14 months old her biological mother passed on and her father wouldn't take her,leaving her for the buzzards(not really). The people who took her in were a young couple who wanted to adopt. The couple was,and still is very kind and caring about their Dara and would be devastated if anything happened to her.

When she was just becoming a teen,they sat her down and told her about what went on when she was young. Dara understood and went off and told her best friend who laughed at her and started bullying her,Dara soon enough left her and the other who too were giving her issues.This leaves us where we are now,Dara is an outcast.
