Dom smiled and shook himself mentally. Be polite, and pretend not to be as awkward as the situation makes you feel, he thought, and he opened his mouth to agree. "Ok, let's go. I can stand googly eyes. I'm hungry enough I could stand anything for a good breakfast. I'm Dominic, by the way. Call me Dom."

"It's brilliant to meet you, Dom," Joey answered politely, sticking a hand out for a handshake and trying to decipher his stomach's cryptic messages as to what it wanted. He was in the mood for another croissant, he supposed.

Lexi smiled and gave a small nod. "Nice to meet you," she said softly, looking at the small café. She gently grabbed Joey's hand and started walking toward it. "Come on Mr. Crazy-In-Love... We need to eat breakfast..." she said softly, yawning and smiling sweetly at Dom.

Joey looked like he was about to protest, though allowed himself to be dragged away with his hand still awkwardly stuck out. He sighed and rolled his eyes as if to say, "Women," before beckoning Dom over and entering the little cafe.

Lexi let go of his hand and gently placed it back in her pocket. She walked over and grabbed a table for two, pulling a chair from another table for Dom. "Joey.. Would you mind ordering for me?" she asked, her voice soft and sweet.

Dom grinned broadly at Joey's expression and walked over, taking the chair that Lexi got for him. "Thanks." he said, dropping all his weight into the chair at once. "I wonder what's on the menu here...pancakes sound amazing at the moment." He turned around in his chair a bit, looking around at the little cafe. It wasn't fancy, but had a nice contemporary feel and smelled delicious. It was nothing like home, and despite his stay on the porch the previous night, he decided that he liked it better than his own kitchen.

Joey wondered of this was one of those, 'You'd better get it right or you're dead' tests that women were sometimes known for. "That depends on how hungry you are, honey," he chuckled, shooting a helpless glance at Dom. "I'll grab everything, so just spill the novel of what you want."

Lexi smiled softly at Dom and then listened as Joey spoke. "Anytime Dom..." she said softly before giving all her attention to Joey. "A croissant and an iced tea please Monsieur," she said with a fake French accent. She pulled her hood down took her bun out, letting her golden brown hair rest on her shoulder.

Dom smiled and turned around again to hide it, so Lexi wouldn't see the boys making faces about her. He stood up and walked to the counter, where he bent down a bit and rested his elbows on the granite until someone came to take his order. "May I get an order of pancakes with a cup of water, please?" The waitress nodded and he headed back to the table to wait for the much-needed food.
