How to i get the 'banner dogs'?

I hear people talking about banner dogs. i assume there will be a banner at the bottom like with the candy but i want to confirm.

Every 20 minutes you can click on one of the banners that appear on the bottom of the page. It has a small chance to have a Banner dog!

You're right! You always have a random chance to get one of the banner pets instead of a piece of candy.

ok thanks i assumed so but wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything
