despite being named after lions, these creature's similarities to them stop at the mane. these mini mammals max out at around a pound, remaining at the size of a chipmunk or squirrel. they eat mostly plant material, including roots, fruit, vegetables, and nuts, but will also occasionally scavenge for bugs, eggs, or human food scraps. they're ground mammals, unable to climb well, and typically live under structures or burrows created by other creatures.
