After a strange fallout left the world scattered, you find yourself a nomad trying to survive amongst the ruins of shriveled plants, crumbling buildings, and a too-hot sun. While wandering, you fall into a canyon with its own universe inside, a world full of these not-so-little mismatched critters! In a lush safe-haven, these cat-moth-bat-like creatures live, protected from the disarray of the outside world. You find yourself the perfect place to stay, and potentially rebuild the world.

First, though, you need a buddy to keep you company!

A few notes:
Calamity critters is an open species with closed species aspects! This means you’re able to make your own critters and add to the lore, although there are some rules when it comes to uncommon, rare, and super rare traits. I am also pretty new to CS and this is my first open species so formatting and thread mistakes will probably happen, thank you for understanding!

Raffles will occur every week/bi-weekly dependent on if theres a current event or not!

is your little grubling just too cute for you to see them grow into a big critter? Then feed them this delicious neverland jelly! It stops the growth of baby critters keeping them a little grubby for however long you want! If you change your mind down the road, then you can give your grub a cleansing jelly to remove these effects. Once a grub grows into a critter you can not turn them back into a grubling.

In the Calamity Caverns, critters have adapted to the different threats and conditions of this new world, with some traits being common among all the critters, while others not. Here's a guide on the different traits you might encounter here! As more of the Cavern is explored, more traits will be added, and some might change in their rarities!

When customs open, how many(if any) Uncommon and Rare traits a critter can have will be decided by a D20. DNA of an UN, R, or Custom trait will also be able to be purchased using custom currency(TBA). Founders will get one free UN trait + D20 rolls for UN and R traits.

More information on this will be released when MYO/Founders open!
