All hail the bread gods! Great Yeast! They were rolled in flour in the beginning, though the
maker was distracted by her own silly sausage and made the rolls a bit long before baking them in the
oven. They come out in all silly shapes and sizes. Silly sausages are flexible and loving creatures.
Silly sausages are a hive of mutating creatures and can be genetically altered or changed by consuming
"special" foodstuffs. The UMA version of "Wobbledogs"! These small creatures are adorable and hilarious.
Some sausages enjoy going out and exploring while others prefer the comforts of home. Due to their
genetic mutations, silly sausages cannot die and will remain a friend to you for as long as it lives.

Please post any questions you have to this thread or message @beignet with private questions if needed! Can I adopt from the shelter if I already won in the same raffle?
Yes! You are more than welcome to adopt from the shelter even if you won in the raffle the shelter sausage came from. Shelter adoptions are first come, first served (FCFS).Will this rule ever change?
Possibly. If Silly Sausages UMA becomes more popular, I may reassess this rule so newer members have a chance to adopt if they missed out on the raffle.
If any changes like this are made, they will always be clearly announced ahead of time. What are Silly Snacks used for?
Silly Snacks are used to mutate existing sausages. They are not required, but they give you the chance to create an altered version of a sausage through randomized effects. Can I feed Silly Snacks to sausages I already own?
Yes! You can absolutely feed Silly Snacks to existing sausages. How much will a sausage change when fed a Silly Snack?
The outcome is largely randomized. Feeding a snack can result in:
No change at all
A minor mutation
A more noticeable alteration
The size and rarity of the snack influence how significant the change can be, but no outcome is guaranteed.Do different snacks cause different levels of mutation?
Yes.
Tiny Silly Snacks (such as Holiday Nog) can only cause minor changes, like:
Base color adjustment
Eye color changes
Other small secondary traits
Tiny snacks will never cause significant line alterations.
Large or rare Silly Snacks (such as Bow Bone or premium holiday snacks) may cause larger or more impactful mutations, though they can still result in no change.Does the sausage’s line affect the outcome?
Yes. You have a better chance of causing a mutation if you feed a tiny Silly Snack to a tiny or early-line sausage (such as the first lines that were made available). Can a mutation remove or replace a sausage’s theme?
No. A mutation will never fully remove a sausage’s original theme.
Mutations may partially overwrite or alter aspects of the theme, but they function more like dress-up or layered changes. You may choose to keep and use either the mutated version or the original version. If I use the same snack more than once, will the result be the same?
No. Even if you use the same type of Silly Snack multiple times, the results can be different. Outcomes may vary depending on:
The individual sausage
The sausage’s line
Randomized rolls
Identical snacks do not guarantee identical results.

The Silly Snacks Shop may occasionally offer items other than Silly Snacks, but most of the time it’s a place to trade your Silly Snacks for something very important: time spent with your Silly Sausages.
Silly Sausages love to eat. They’re happiest when you feed them, hang out with them, and watch them grow. Depending on what you feed a Silly Sausage, they may undergo genetic changes, resulting in new colors, markings, body shapes, accessories, or other delightfully silly quirks.
No two sillies grow the same way.
SNACK SIZE & COMPATABILITY
Silly Snacks come in different sizes, and size matters (a little).
Some snacks can be fed to all sausages
Other snacks are better suited for specific sausage sizes or body types
Feeding a snack that’s a bit too big is allowed, but unpredictable
Sometimes it leads to stronger changes
Sometimes it… doesn’t work at all
Either way, the sausage won’t complain.
FEEDING SCHEDULE
You may dispense one Silly Snack Friday through Sunday
Results will be posted no later than the following Wednesday
You may submit multiple feeding forms in one post
Please don’t edit posts once submitted — it confuses the snacks>

GROWTH, COCOONS, AND MUTATIONS
As Silly Sausages grow, they may enter a short cocoon phase.
This is perfectly normal.
When a sausage emerges from its cocoon, any genetic changes will be visible.
These changes are influenced by:
What the sausage eats (different snacks encourage different outcomes)
The sausage’s existing appearance and traits
Common changes include:
Size or proportion adjustments
Color or pattern shifts
New markings or textures
Accessories or visual quirks
Occasional personality flavor changes
Not every feeding results in a visible change — sometimes growth is subtle.
You start with a few base dogs that have randomized genes.
Each dog has genetic traits that affect body size, leg length, tail shape, color, wing growth (yes, wings!), and more.![]()
You begin with a small number of base Silly Sausages, each with their own unique appearance. While some genetic traits exist behind the scenes, not all traits are immediately visible or labeled.
Over time, through feeding, growth, and events, sausages may develop more distinctive features.![]()

HOW TO FEED SILLY SAUSAGES:After Silly Snacks are fed to Silly Sausages, Sausages will enter a cocoon phase, once they emerge from this period, you may submit an additional form to feed more Silly Snacks to Silly Sausages.
You MAY post more than one I WANT TO FEED MY SILLY SAUSAGE! form within one post but you may not make edits or alterations to the post and additional posts will be ignored.
Mutated Silly Sausages can be included in one's co-op archive. These genetically altered sausages may be used in addition to their original form.>

(OPENING TBA)
Silly Sausages may be bred using the breeding simulation chamber.
You may breed once per month, unless you have a special breeding item.
Offspring inherit a mix of their parents’ traits
The process also introduces random variation and mutation potential
The result is always a little unpredictable — just like the sausages themselves.
