ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Hello everyone! This is Xin. I'm here to announce that I will be officially closing down Fauxins.

Why?

Well, I'll be starting from the top. I'll add a TLDR at the end for anyone who doesn't want to read the whole thing.

- While making Fauxins, I was super excited to have a community, I did not realize how much hard work there was involving such a project and it eventually began to wear me down in the end. It was a HUGE dream with responsibilities I was NOT ready to hold and I apologize for that.

- Mentioned above, my motivation began to die out. No, this isn't anyone's fault. I'll keep this part personal to myself, but I was NOT doing okay and as such- Left for about a year? More or less to recover and get better.

- As much as I do want to continue this, I realize that I am not ready to deal with all the hard work, the management and ETC involving Fauxins. I have been getting more work to do IRL and I want to focus on that instead of spending all of my time working on Fauxins, I hope you all understand. I doubt I will be coming back to Fauxins in the future, as I now know that I am not ready and will most likely never be able to handle such a big dream of mine. I know that I will be getting more and more work to do IRL as life goes on, so there is a very unlikely chance of me coming back to Fauxins. Therefore, I will be permanently closing this down forever.

TLDR

I am quitting Fauxins because my mental health slowly declined and I am not ready to take on a big project such as Fauxins, my workload IRL has been growing and I have been getting less free time. So I will be closing it permanently.

What does this mean for Fauxins?

I'm upset to say this, but as I mentioned before- I will be closing it down forever. For those who own Fauxins, you can still keep them- Of course, they are still YOURS but the art created was by ME and the OTHER ARTISTS. If you plan to use them in the future, please make sure to credit me OR the artists that made your Fauxins. <3

I will NOT be giving Fauxins away to another creator. I don't feel comfortable with the idea and would prefer if it were shut down completely instead. Maybe, if the previous Artists wants to take ownership of Fauxins, I will consider giving it to them.

My apology

I'm sorry to those who never got to participate in Fauxins, and I'm sorry to those who joined this community. I thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart for joining me in this temporary dream of mine. I will be FOREVER grateful to the experience you all have given me, thank you. NOTHING I say will ever be able to describe the amount of gratitude I feel towards you all.

It feels like I'm not saying enough, but I hope you all understand my message and where I am coming from.
