Pixel pups are small collectable pups that you can adopt and raise till it reaches to its adult form! Each pup takes time to grow, depending on its rarity.



This is Keef, Pixel-Pups mascot!

As you can see, Keef is currently in his baby stage, as he's still growing! But, Keef haves the ability to time travel to his adult stage!


Ta-da! now keef is fully grown!

Keef is a COMMON pup, as he's no special than the others.

Pixel-Pups is just a fun lil thing that I have created for anyone who likes collecting pets!

How do I get one?

Pups can be obtained by:

- adopting pups from the Adoption center
- Golden Tokens
- Through trading and/or swaps
- Giveaways and raffles
- Litter breedings

I've have obtained a pup! What do I do now?

Now that you have your first pup, its ownership will be placed in a growth log*. You can place your pup in your forum sig, and just admire it from afar.

What if I wanted to make my pixel pup my character/sona/etc?

You're free to do what ever to your pup! but remember, posting your pup outside of cs like toyhouse, will require you to transfer all art of the pup if you ever decide of trading/swapping them within Chicken Smoothie only! You can void your pup if you prefer to keep your pups design offsite with permission from the original designer. (as of always, keep design credit!)

How do I grow my pup?
Doing actions is not required to grow your pup. The growth log keeps track of growth phases, as well as: Ownership, birth, Rarity, and status!

The growth log is basically like a "masterlist" of pups that are currently owned. Once placed, it'll automatically start its growing process. Most pups that are common, have shorter growth time, while others take time to grow. If you're lucky, your pup may go through some changes in this process. Each phase will be placed in its growth log, so we can keep track of all of the stages so far! In its last form, your pup will be marked as "ADULT". Some pups can be eternally youthful, but its really rare to obtain. These pups will be marked with a "PPS".

If you want to keep your pup forever young, the Bottle of eternal youth is what you would need! This item is very rare, along with the Golden Token.

Rarities affect growth time:

Common pups: 2-3+ days

rare pups: 4-5 days

Special pups: 4-6 days (Growth time varies; some may have alt changes)

Mythical pups: Does not grow

Random pups: Depends on time given, occasionally, common/rare pups are close to a week.

Do I have to update the pets image after it changes in my sig?
If the pup was made from a litter, then no. Custom pups are fully grown, while puppies are exclusively from staff litters or special events. Custom pps pups can only be created via
custom announcements from owner.

How do I identify my pups rarity?

Rarities vast to uniqueness. You may have seen one pup with animation while the others don't. You can determine what to create your pup as, but when it grows, keep watch of some changes.


COMMON:
Usually drawn on the pup base/grows into the standard adult base, simple designs (doesn't really follow that, but most pups are quite simple), body never changes during growth, lack of animations in or between growth (small animations like a bounce or blinking are ok, but major ones like wing flapping or sparkle effects fall into rare)




RARE:
animations like wing flapping, sparkle effects, etc, uses the baby pup base when young; grows into a different pose, extra features added after growth.




SPECIAL:
only obtained from special events. Can fall into any category!





MYTHICAL:
Quite bigger per say, way detailed if possible, hue shift animations/detailed animations, already fully grown, Usually made off base, can have alt changes via animations



RANDOM:
Random chance of a pup from any rarity. Mythical is 1.75%.

This item can be found rarely in scavenging or as a award/gift via event!


Common and rare pups are commonly owned

Still confused? Rarities will be with the pup within the growth log.

The golden token allows custom access to all rarities except special upon users request! These pups usually don't grow, but instead is fully adult or elder

Where do I swap/trade my pup?

You are able to swap/trade pups within the trading center! This is where you can post pending trades of current pups to its new owner. Trading pixel-pups outside of Chicken Smoothie is not allowed, unless voided. Please contact me if you've want your pup voided!

Voided pups will not be official pups again as soon as they're voided. It'll be considered a fake pixel pup, and will no longer be used via breeding, events, etc

Rules:
No heavily referencing pups designs or others artwork
Be kind to others
Be respectful to mods and other members
If you have questions, feel free to ask any available mod or the owner

Strike rules:
One strike is a warning
2 strikes is a big warning
3 strikes means permanent ban of the group, and all items, currency, and pups will be voided
Ban can be lifted if actions was fixed or solved
