Welcome to the GRAND OPENING for Ushiagi! Please make sure to read through the whole first page of this thread to completely understand the species and adoption process. At this moment, we have our first two Ushiagi up for adoption. Will you give them a home? In the future, we hope to have accessories that can be added to your rabbit ancestors as well as free Ushiagi for adoption, litters and an official role-play. We hope you stick around with us and enjoy.

Prices have been updated to reflect the current CS currency. Adoptables now start at 10 Jadiete ($10 USD or 200 C$) The price chance was lowered to help all members to be able to afford Ushiagi. We will also have some free options that can be won via a raffle system or as a prize for a certain task (writing, drawing etc.)

Rules

1. All members are required to be respectful to the
community and staff.
2. If there is a dispute for any reason or question please
contact a staff member.
3. The severity of any rule breaking is up to the staff
and can result in a ban.
4. Ushiagi is a closed species; only approved artists/staff
can create them.
5. Jadetite must be purchased before exchanging it for
items/Ushiagi unless it is an auction.
6. If a bid (during an auction) is placed it cannot be
retracted.
7. All exchanges are final and all trades are final.
8. All forms of currency (C$, Jadetite, USD etc.)
cannot be refunded.
9. Ushiagi cannot be sold for more than the original
purchase unless more artwork is obtained.
10. Ushiagi can only be traded for other Ushiagi.
11. If an Ushiagi is traded both parties must notify a
staff member for approval.

Auction Rules

1. In order for a bid to count the member must quote the
previous bid and reply with their bid.
2. Bids must be converted into Jadeite when bidding. Don't
worry, if you don't have any it can be converted at the end
of the auction.
3. Bids must be made in increments of 1 Jadeite.
4. The winner of the auction must pay via Paypal (USD)
Square (USD) or C$ according to the conversion rate.
For example 10 Jadeite = $10 USD (via PayPal) or
40 C$. The winner will be PM privately. If you wish
to pay with USD (via PayPal or Square) please
contact us via email at ushiagi@gmail.com.
5. Once a bid is made it cannot be retracted.
6. Payment is due with 24 hours of the ending of
the auction. If the time frame expires, the Ushiagi
will go to the next highest bidder.

Classification

Name - Ushiagi (ou-she-ah-jE) which is broken down into Ushi ウシ "bovine" in Japanese and Usagi ウサギ "rabbit" in Japanese.

Origins - Ushiagi is a hybrid of bovine and rabbit evolved in the privative era of Japan. Closely related to the folklore of jackalopes, advances to the ancestors mutated to increase their chances of survival.

Physic - Physically the Ushiagi has a frame and stance of a jackrabbit; though its intense size increases it triumphs over their cousins. Exclusively as a form of defense every being of this class holds at least two horn-like appendages upon their heads. Unlike their inferior counterparts, Ushiagi can develop any type of horn found in the worldwide wildlife.

Gender - As uttermost mammals go there are only two genders; male and female. For breeding purposes this is the same, however, Ushiagi have a complex nature and will pair up with male or female partners heedless of gender.

Food Source - While most of the time these feral animals are illusive and peaceful omnivores, few have been known to attack lower-tiered species. They use their extended claws and fangs to use as an attack to get the vitamins and minerals needed.

Habitat - Japan houses a large range of landscapes from mountainous rocky topography, to hills and valleys, streams and rivers to which can properly house many Ushiagi. Ironically, they don't prefer the overheated desert dwelling as the Jackalopes did.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question- Do you accept Chicken Smoothie pets as payment for Jadeite?
Answer- No, we currently only accept USD (through Paypal/Square) and C$.

Question- How often are Ushiagi released?
Answer- They are released at random times, and frequency depends on the artist.

Question- How do I become a staff member?
Answer- We, as a staff, determine who is chosen for staff positions. If there are any available openings it will be announced under the welcome section at the top of the thread.
