Cry Foxes are released for adoption as babies in groups of three or more and raffled of singularly with a list randomizer, to enter to adopt a fox please fill out the form at the bottom of this post and post it on this thread. You may enter for one fox per group.

When a fox is reserved, it is guaranteed to that person. This is because the group is from a breeding kennel! You can't adopt any foxes that are reserved.

Traits are defined by their tier and rarity. There are three tiers of traits, and a fox can have at least one trait from each tier. The first tier, primary, consists of tails. The secondary tier consists of ears. In the tertiary tier you'll find wings, horns, etc.

You can tell the rarity of each trait by the color it hosts. It's simple! Very common/common traits will be a salmon-pink (#ff8c8c). Uncommon traits will be yellow (#fdff78). Rare traits will be a light teal (#78ffcb), and any very rare traits will be green (#4aff57).

fun fact: with the (6) hidden traits + standard traits, there are over 5,000 trait combinations possible. (: That's not even considering custom traits!

Build-A-Fox

Is your fox wanting an extra friend? Maybe they are just looking for another collectable! Here you can request a custom-made plush chibi version of them! (May only be a copy of a fox you own, these are not new "customs")

These plushies are always going to be one of a kind! (custom/new lines every time) To order, please choose your maker! Then pick one of your foxes to get a little mini-version of them, and send in your form! Payment should be sent directly to the maker (artist) you choose, and your finished plushie will be PM'd to you! You may also choose to have your plushie image be added to your fox image.

To breed two foxes you will need a breeding potion. Any two owners may breed their foxes together, but the one who supplies the breeding potion from their inventory will be the one to keep a pup, unless a reserve elixir is used to reserve another pup. Standard breeding potions will give anywhere between 2-4 foxes in a litter, you may use a standard yield potion to guarantee +1 pup in your litter. Epic breeding potions give between 4-6 pups, and an epic yield potion guarantees +2 pups in your litter. You can use any combination of these potions although remember you may only use one type per litter. (One breeding potion type, and optionally, one yield potion, one reserve elixir)

All foxes have genetics that will play a role into the outcomes for offspring traits, you can apply up to 3 blue dust to raise the chances of the higher rarity traits showing up in offspring. It is also possible for custom traits to be passed down! here is a guide with a couple tips when breeding your foxes.

Periodically we will open 2 or 3 breeding dens, this is the only time breeding forms will be accepted. Dens are taken first come first serve, your form must be valid to be eligible.

Your breeding can take anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks to be completed, and you will be sent a PM with the pups to choose from immediately when the breeding is finished. When the breeding is finished it will be placed into the lineup of litters and you'll be given a brief idea of how long it will be until the adults are released, as well as the number of the litter in our lineup.

There are 6 hidden genes, two in each tier, which are only obtainable through breeding. These traits will never show up in litter or event releases, and your foxes will need the right gene combinations to have a chance of offspring producing those traits. Please only post forms when there are open slots. We will open however many slots artists are willing to take on, and they are FCFS Forms must be valid to be eligible for a slot

Any users with cry foxes from V.1 are allowed to request customs to transfer their old foxes on the new lines! These will be free, You only need to own a fox from v.1!

please note that some design requests may be too complicated or detailed to fit onto our base, which is fairly small. We will always try to fulfill your requests, but it is possible we may decline any custom request at any time. In this case, of course, you will not be charged for anything.

EASTERTIDE JUBILEE

Although Cryphic Foxes are not social or even friendly animals, let it be known that they do not forget those who came before them. Their ancestors are revered and tales of their exploits are passed down through generations, so much that the first settlers of Kinashi have become legends in their own right. One of the most famous and respected among these is one they called the Harvest Deity. A peaceful fox, rare during the time, the Harvest Deity was one of the first to begin agricultural experiments, gathering seeds, sowing, and blessing them in order to grow large amounts of food and gorgeous blossoms for the benefit of all. When the Harvest Deity passed, the remaining foxes gave him a beautiful burial and continued blessing and growing the seeds in his honor.

Foxes today gather around his gravesite, now overgrown with fruits and blossoms of all kinds, to celebrate his legacy and preserve tradition. The Eastertide Jubilee provides a day of celebration and honor before the Cryphic
Foxes return to relative solitude until the next gathering.

The Eastertide Jubilee will run until the end of March. On April 1, our celebration will end and seeds will be impossible to find until next year's gathering.

SNOWFALL GALA

Cry foxes aren’t social creatures, but even still, in the depths of winter, one longs for other signs of life. Long ago a few foxes began gathering and sharing food amongst themselves before going back to fend for themselves. The gathering wasn’t much at first, but as the years went on, more and more foxes began to join the group. Over time, the gathering evolved into a paying of respects to ancestors and a representation of change as the new year approached.

Foxes seek out companions amongst the foxes attending and trade within the group to form bonds with others. The event is easily the biggest gathering of Cry Foxes that occurs all year, and after the event is over they return to their respective territories. However, until the event is over, the foxes enjoy the company and pay respects to their ancestors as the snow falls around them. The gala is a welcome escape from the cold starkness of winter and gives foxes a warm, vibrant retreat.

Artists will be the heart and soul of this center! We need artists to produce foxes and come up with new ideas for designs and traits. Artists recieve 10 stones per fox+baby made, and a free self-made custom for every month served on the team. Artists should make at least 2 groups of 3-4 foxes a month. This is a very lenient expectation, I understand if you have real life issues or real life in general that those could get in the way of art, you won't be removed from the team, your life and health always comes first!! Please just PM me telling me that you won't be able to make as many groups as you planned for that time. When applying, please add as much information as possible. Kinashi (explore) Director

When you are a Kinashi exploring director you will "guide" guests through areas and give them their prizes for exploring. To do this you'll need to open notepad or word and count explores.. to count explores, copy and paste the username of the person that is exploring your area into your notepad/word doc. When you complete counting the users that explore, you can use this number generator (generate 1 number at a time, between 1-100) and then based on the number you roll, you can use this number guide to find the corresponding prize. Users may use certain items to further their travels in Kinashi and get more prizes. Different items have different effects. You can view their effects in the shop section on the home thread. When applying, please add as much information as possible. Sommer (supermancrayon) will review your form and PM you with a response.
