You're making your way through the hatchery, when a blue Griffon cub catches your eye. You crouch down over it, and realize it's swinging tail is particularly fluffy. You crouch over the little cub, and pet it's head softly. The baby griffon makes a soft, purr-like sound, and flaps its wings happily.
The Baby Griffon is now yours!

As Jaquin waits for you to finish exploring the nursery, your eyes are drawn to a bright orange cub who's pale claws are twitching nervously. You bend over, and whisper soft crooning noises to him. It whimpers, and then purrs as you pick it up. Petting its head the Griffon flicks its tail and smiles at you, mouth briefly becoming visible.
The Baby Griffon is now yours!

You make your way through the nests, towards the one you've had your eye on the entire time. The Griff is a soft purple color, and its tail is coiled up around it. Then you get closer, and notice something rather...odd. A second tail is wrapped around its other side, the exact same shade as this Griffon. You pick up the baby griffon to inspect it, and then realize that the tail is its! How strange. You rub the Griffon's head and it slowly blinks open its eyes at you, squinting at you for a half second, and then closing them again, purring happily.
The Baby Griffon is now yours!

She says something to the Griffon, who turns to peer at you with soft purple eyes. The lavender Griffon shrugs, and makes her way over to you. She sniffs you, circling around you as you stand very still. Finally she nods, and presses her head against your hand.

You aren't quite sure where the Griffon came from, but you are extremely aware of it as it's bright magenta eyes bore into your own. It's fur is a dark bark-like color, and its claws are a dark, rich cream. Then it smirks, and drops to the ground, nodding happily. It rubs its head against your palm with a happy purr.
