A Cervulpian Dox, or Doxxie, as they are commonly
called, is an ancient species of mammalian descent
that has recently been discovered living high in the
Appalachian mountains. They are quite deerlike in
physic, but have some foxish attributes as well.
Since they seem to be a hybrid species, they come
in many different mutations, and each one is unique.

Doxxies vary in temperaments anywhere from timid
and shy, to fiery and aggressive. The more deer-like
a doxxie is, the less aggressive it is. However,
aggressive deerlike doxxies can be found. These
strange creatures have short, thick plush-like fur,
and round, intelligent eyes, making them seem almost
stuffed-animal like. They do not have teeth, and suck
on the food they choose to eat. Doxxies can eat virtually
anything, however, it has been discovered that they enjoy
Shed Antlers () very much! Currently, Callan, the mascot,
is the only antlered doxxie that has been discovered, but
he has agreed that we may use any Antlers he has shed.

Adopting Rules
These are for if you want to adopt a Cervulpian Doxxie. You must follow these rules or you may be punished!

1- Do not whine if you don't get a Doxxie you want
2- Don't spam us asking when the next litter will be out. We don't live on the computer- we can't make them all the time!
3- You may only adopt one per litter.
4- Don't beg for anything.
5- Don't ask for free store items/doxxies. Try to win them.
6- Anyone who is found to be using any of the sprites on this thread without permission will be banned from doxxies permenently. I made all of these sprites myself using a computer mouse, and it was a lot of work.
7- Always link back to here wherever you post your doxxie. And, if asked, you must give credit to the artist and me.
8- Use common sense. Be nice to everyone here and be respectful to staff.
9- Do not spam this thread with comments. We have a fanclub for comments, ideas, and chatting!
10- Do not transfer a doxxie's design onto another species.
11- Trading doxxies is currently not allowed, nor is gifting.
12- Don't minimod. If you want to enforce rules, apply to be a mod.

Artist Rules
These rules only apply to artists.

1- Litters may have 3-5 Doxxies in them, with 3-4 being more common.
2- Litters can have as many very commons and commons as you would like, but only one uncommon per litter.
3- To put a rare in a litter, you must PM seedcakes asking permission before you make the rare.
4- Every litter must be PMed to seedcakes for approval.
5- Litters cannot be based off of real characters or OCs (so no star wars or pokemon themed doxxies!)
6- You can only send a litter to seedcakes for approval if there is a litter slot open. However, you can still make them if litter slots are closed! Just don't send them in until the slot opens up.
7- Don't make line edits. The only line edits that you are allowed to make would be an expression.
8- This isn't a rule, but it is a useful note. The doxxie lines were made using piskelapp.com, so it might be easier for you to make them using that.
9- You may not adopt from your own litter, and you may not make your own customs or breedings.
10- Try to keep doxxies from a litter looking at least a little similar, since they are siblings!
11- If you receive a strike for anything, you will be removed from staff.

Custom Rules
These are for those who want a custom.

1- You must have enough antlers to buy the custom before ordering it.
2- Don't ask for customs based off of real characters, like han solo or pikachu.
3- Do not ask for a custom that is exactly the same as an already made custom/litter doxxie.
4- You can ask for minor line edits.
5- Do not be upset if the artist declines your custom- it may be too complicated for them!

Breeding Rules
These are for breeding your doxxies.

1- You cannot breed two doxxies that are from the same litter, because they are siblings.
2- You must wait a week between ordering breedings, and a breeding slot must be open when you place your order!
3- You must have a breeding stone to breed.
4- You can only keep 2 doxxies from your litter unless you use a Clear Bell.
5- Don't Doxxie mill. It ain't right.
6- Doxxies cannot breed with their parents.
7- Once a doxxie egg is adopted, it will hatch! However, if it isn't adopted within two weeks, it will grow up and be sent to the pound.

Guest Artist Rules
If you are a guest artist, these rules apply to you!

1- You can make one litter of doxxies.
2- Follow the artist rules.
3- You do not get a staff doxxie.
4- If I love your designs, I may invite you to be a full artist c:

Mod Rules
If you are a mod, read these!

1- Your job is not only to give out warnings/strikes/bans! You can answer any questions an adopter has about doxxies.
2- If you feel someone needs a warning/strike/ban, PM seedcakes a Mod Ticket.

I, seedcakes, owner of Cervulpian Doxxies, reserve the right to add rules to any of these sections as I see fit.

Warnings, Strikes, and Bans.
Mods, if you feel that someone needs to be given a warning, strike, or ban, please PM a Mod Ticket to seedcakes so she can decide on what action to take. Mod Tickets can be found at the bottom of this post.

Warnings only stick around for a month before being wiped away. Strikes are permanent. If you receive multiple strikes, you may be banned. If you are banned, your strikes are wiped clean once the ban is over. However, you will have a warning for a month afterwards. Bans are determined by seedcakes depending on the situation. Bans can range from three days to permanent.

Now, you may be wondering, what happens if i get a warning/strike/ban? Well, take a look here:

1st Warning = Nothing
2nd Warning = Cannot play games
3rd Warning = Strike (and you will not get any more warnings!)
1st Strike = Cannot breed, If you are Staff you will loose your position.
2nd Strike = Cannot play events, cannot buy from shop
3rd Strike = Ban
1st Ban = Cannot do anything until ban is up
2nd Ban = Ban is longer than first ban, same punishment
3rd Ban = Permanently banned
Permanently Banned = All your doxxies are taken away and put up for readoption

Some mutations are more common than others. Here, I have recorded a guide of the rarities of the mutations. Also, new mutations are still being discovered, so check back every once in a while to see if we've found any!

Unknown
The only doxxies with unknowm rarities are eggs. Once they are adopted, they will hatch into an adult Doxxie! Eggs are normally obtained from breeding, but you cant also find thhem while playing games or win them in events!

Very Common
The most common Doxxies out there. These will be the most frequently found, but that doesn't make them any less special! They are the base form of Doxxies.


Deer-tailed

Common
Still relatively easy to find, these guys are still pretty neat!


Docked Tail ; Fox Tailed ; Hooved ; Flopeared ; Curltailed

Uncommon
Slightly harder to locate, the uncommon doxxies are... interesting... to say the least.


Butterfly ; Ragged ; Kitsune

Rare
Rare doxxies are extremely hard to find- they don't even look like true doxxies!


Dragon ; Mousey

Event
Oh, wow! These have special lines! They can only be won during events. Event Doxxies cannot breed.


PPS ; Sleeping

Legendary
So far, Callan is the only legendary doxxie that has ever been found. These are the hardest doxxies to get, and so far there aren't any plans to release them in the near future.

Heya, I'm Vaultie. Before you ask about my outfit, I was a gift for one of seed's friends before she made doxxie's an adoptable species. Ok, so I see you are either here to ask for a breeding or a custom.

Breedings
To breed a male and a female doxxie, first you need a . Don't have one? Go see Sylviana, she's selling them for a few . Make sure you read all the breeding rules! Then, fill out the form below and post it on this thread. You get to keep some of the eggs! You won't know the rarity or gender of an egg until it hatches. When eggs hatch, they are full adults! However, you can currently only breed your own doxxies. You get to keep two of the eggs, and then they are FCFS to anyone else who wants them! There are 3-5 eggs per breeding. But they can only adopt once you've picked the ones you want :)

Yeah, customs. Great, aren't they? Well, they do cost a bit of antlers. Ya see, even I, the great Vaultie, get hungry sometimes. So here are the prices:

Very Common: 50
Common: 75
Uncommon: 100
Rare: 150

And if you want to add items, you have to buy them from Sylviana. Also, an artist has to have a custom slot open in order for you to adopt one. Furthermore, you can only buy one custom every two weeks. Lastly, customs can not be based on any copyrighted characters, or any already existing OCs unless you own them.
