Personality: conceited, vain, arrogant, contemptuous, superior attitude, mischievous
History: Although Persephona's character is rather repulsive to any living creature, if you get to know her, she's actually nice. Apart from making malicious jokes, insulting from time to time, tenting to break different things when she's angry, Persephona has a good soul... somewhere down there... well, it must be a light in the deepest darkness, isn't it?
She has a hard childhood, the parents abandoned her at a very young age. She had to fight every moment to survive. Left alone on the streets, with no place to go, weak, she was the target of the other homeless hounds, chasing her away from their territories. Once, she got some meat from a market's owner, but she got attacked by a pack of dogs. Persephona tried to resist against them, but they were too many, and too strong. Not only that they took her food, but also their leader approached her, and scratched her right eye. "So you will remember next time who is the boss on here". In pain, she lied there, powerless. That day, it was such a bitter cold that she almost died. Then, she saw a black wolf looking kindly at her.
"I'm Hades I came because your pain is ready to reach the end" he told her while touching her forehead. Persephona's black fur coloured with red, revealing some beautiful dark red markings. Her eyes turned red and she got her eyesight back at the damaged one.
"You were burdened with crucial destiny" he said. "It was given to you the power to avenge yourself, you will be responsible for punishing all the wicked souls, you will be queen of your own kingdom. What do you think?" because Persephona had nothing to lose, she accepted. She wanted to bring the little bit of light and happiness to that dark and sad underworld filled with mournful souls. It worked in the beginning, until her own heart started to rot under evil's pressure around her, so she became distant, merciless and cold hearted. She rarely meets a noble soul sent there by mistake. That's the only time when the old Persephona comes to surface out of the impenetrable shield built around her heart.

As always, I will be taking a day or two to update the kennels! Please don't post any new forms until the next round opens up. I noticed we have a lot of images that aren't working now - if anyone can help find them, that would be a blessing - otherwise, I think those characters are lost to time.

Also, I've been running this place for about a year and a half now. It's been really great, but if possible, I think I'd like to move on to other things. If anyone is interested/able to run this place, please send me a message! It's honestly not a ton of work - I put about an hour into this group twice a month.
