hello everyone!! the fourth and final mini-batch has been released, so make sure you go to the batches post for all the full details as always. since this is the last post before we begin drawing for the raffles, there's some important info to share too, so make sure you read through this post!!

so, here's some extra updates =)

firstly, you may notice the residents listed above now have stars next to their names. all the previous residents now have those stars too on the main post, so you can check back for those too. these are rarities!! each species has a rarity; when new residents are made, staff roll to determine which rarity will be used for the species. a full list of the current species is as follows:

1★ (35% chance) Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Mouse, Horse
2★ (30% chance) Wolf, Lion, Bear, Deer
3★ (20% chance) Snake, Songbird, Kangaroo
4★ (10% chance) Bat, Parrot, Monkey
5★ (5% chance) Dragon, Unicorn

this info was already available in our discord server, but not yet on the CS thread.
speaking of, we're also planning to make sure the entire game CAN be played on CS without having to join the discord. currently, you do have to join the discord for gameplay; with the exception of raffles, all the other functions such as decorating require posting in the discord. the discord also has a full explanation of HOW to play.
but of course, we do want to make sure the game is accessible to those who'd rather not join the server, so we WILL be added all of this to CS forums as well. it's just going to take a lot of re-organising of current content on the front page, as well as making a new thread or two, so it'll take a tiny bit more time. we hope to have it finished by 7th August.
in the meantime, you can still begin gameplay if you're in the discord server as soon as you get your first resident.

and finally, a little extra info regarding the raffles.
usually, you will only be able to win one resident per batch. because this first batch of 20 is split into 4 mini-batches, everyone will have the option to hold on to any residents they win untill all four batches have been rolled. when everything is finished, if you win multiple, you can choose the one you'd like to keep, and any others you've won can be re-rolled.
if you want to hang on to your winnings until you can decide which to keep, please say so in either the thread or the discord server. you won't be able to do any gameplay stuff while you're holding on to a resident.
if we DON'T hear from you before the next raffle (there's about 2 days between each), we'll assume you're happy with your first win, and you won't be entered into the next raffles.
