I think hunting chances are either perfect or, for items and volux, a bit too high (I dunno ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Roughly/nearly a 20% chance for a volux I did my math correctly? And this is great because most of the arcane wins are 20 or higher, so by the next time you hunt you could probably hunt again with extra passes! ;D

Side note: the number of turns you have left is how many times you can decide not to take what you rolled for. This way, you have a chance of something else! Every time you reply to continue onward, your turn count will go down by one, and once it hits zero, you must take whatever your final roll gives you and return home.

The glint of the item disappears from view as you ignore it, instead choosing to approach the creature before you. Shadow watches intently, and then leaps behind the boulders before you can move. You hold your breath as a series of strange sounds can be heard.

Your volux steps out from behind the rocks with a new friend beside her: you've found a wild volux! It doesn't seem to have any mutations. It carries the wild trait WA!



Please give your new volux a name and gender.

Note: Wild volux are unable to breed until new items are added to the breeding store.

(For now I'm thinking of leaving it here, as the thread is pretty inactive in between litters anyway, so it'll be better than bumping repeatedly. Oof that reminds me, I need to draw them now...)
