Rahmiel is the angel of mercy and love, which is why he has pink glowing eyes and starry wings. He's very humble and romantic, taking pity on the simplest of creatures. However, when he's faced with a creature that has more power than he does, he's unsure of what to do and ends up getting twisted in the terrible tale. Despite his actions, Rahmiel only seems to make things worse, which is usually not what happens when he uses his powers.

Just like all other things in life, there needs to be some balance. This also applies to angels.

Azrail is the angel of death. Unlike the other angels, he's struggled with his position the most. He overtook the original angel's job and name, despite not remembering what he'd done during his mortal life. For centuries, he completed his tasks in peace and didn't complain.

In modern times, Rahmiel came into his position as the angel of mercy and love. He quickly met many angels and didn't come to admire many of them other than Azrail, whose job as a "grim reaper" fascinated him. The angel of mercy and love also felt his heart-strings being pulled at how lonely and sad that job could be. He decided to make Azrail fall in love with the next mortal he saw, and it wasn't until she died that he realized it was a mistake. The angel of death had to help his lover to the other side, and he couldn't do anything else to save her. To this day, Azrail still blames himself for not being able to do anything else.

Azrail was heartbroken and furious, bringing his anger to Rahmiel because he knew that the angel had been the cause. Rahmiel could do nothing but cry and apologize, which brought no comfort to the other angel. For years now, Azrail has held a harsh grudge against the angel of mercy and love.

Through this time, Rahmiel has realized that he has been in love with Azrail from the beginning. Despite his powers, the angel of death hasn't fallen in love with him. Angels can only fall in love with other angels through their own will.

Azrail will have to discover a change of heart for Rahmiel's dreams to come true.

Personality:
A friendly, but rather strange and mysterious knight.

Despite his welcoming demeanor, not many are close with him. While helpful, many of the town’s residents are intimidated by his mere presence. How he seemingly never gets mad, or reacts to anything all that much. To put it shortly, most generally see him as off putting, believing his nature isn’t what it seems. Still, he doesn’t seem to notice their suspicion and he usually helps anyways. The knight himself is humble, never really speaking anything of himself and preferring to listen to the stories of other kalons. However, his history is a mystery even to the lord that took him in as Cygnus claims he cannot remember anything.

The lord himself has noticed a few things about Cygnus. For one, he occasionally seems to get lost in his own mind, staring blankly at the sky. Two, Cygnus appears to have advanced swordsmanship despite being relatively peaceful to the residents of the village. Three, occasionally he’ll notice Cygnus humming to a unfamiliar tune, of a language the lord himself is not familiar with.

It seems to be more than what meets the eye as despite Cygnus’s genuine kindness and loyalty, he sure does keep a lot of secrets that he himself doesn’t know...

AU:

In a kingdom trapped in time where no one should’ve been able to enter or leave, Cygnus just fell from the sky one particularly sunny day.

Its residents had never seen a winged kalon, only ever hearing about them in stories. But there he was, slumped over a fountain in the village as others gathered around the badly injured Cygnus. Amongst the commotion, the lord took him in as Cygus struggled to take off back into the sky with broken wings. For the first few days, the lord worriedly watched as Cygnus couldn’t keep still from nightmares that seemed to plague him, as he explained to him with terrifying detail.

But by the end of that week, Cygnus was now strangely calm. When the lord asked him about it, he simply said he didn’t remember anything from those days.

When Cygnus fully healed, instead of trying to leave like many others he choose to stay much to the surprise of the lord. Rather, Cygnus begged the lord to be a knight for him, which he reluctantly accepted.

That’s how the story goes, at least to the lord. For he couldn’t find any answers to who Cygnus was before he crashed into the city square.

Cygnus remembers nothing of his past life beforehand, yet he is instinctively drawn to the familiar things of his old life he cannot place a hand on.

He used to be a general to an army of winged kalons just like him, but soon he was struck down by the modern technology of the era outside of the kingdom. Shortly before his fall into the hidden kingdom, he was defending his city from invaders, but he was quickly struck down by their technology, plummeting to the ground far below.

It was his desire to live that allowed him to enter the hidden kingdom in the first place, thus saving his life. Unfortunately for him, most newcomers have a tendency to lost most of their memories due to a strange gem in the lord’s castle. Soon after he crashed, the benevolent but strange lord took him in.

Through becoming a knight for the lord, slowly he begins to recover his old memories throughout the span of many months. When finally he recovers his memories, he finds that the place he calls home has stopped existing in its entirety, destroyed completely by the invaders. The floating city he defended with his life is now completely gone.

With nowhere left to go, he returns to the kingdom and tries to forget about it, but he still hums the old songs of his former home. However, it doesn’t go unnoticed by the lord...

Personality: Mayano can come off as rude at first, but when you get to meet her you can see that she just loves throwing out light hearted jokes and doesn't mean to offend anyone. Easygoing, fun, and impulsive are some of the best words to describe her. Though, when she gets serious her entie deminer shifts an insane amount. Her bright eyes go dim and no humor is welcomed by her in the span of it. Of course, she can't be serious for long so her lectures always end with a joke or pun of sorts. Mayano is always trying to help or mentor younger kals, and usually she's really good at it.

Basically a world where there are heros and villains, Mayano is a young hero who easily became one of the most popular because of her personality. Currently working on more heros, villains, and sidekicks.

Aria lives in my modern au. In general there is nothing in particular that makes this au different than our current modern world, however there are hints of magical elements in certain aspects (though it wouldn't have too much of a direct effect on Aria until future developments). Aria lives in the big city of my modern au and is part of a famous band known as "The Legends". Aria is the lead singer and joined do to her friendship with the bass guitarist of the group Soren. They go on tours all over the world and in general go through many misadventures that come with being famous but also being adventurous.

(So in general this idea came to me a while ago because I love the idea of having a famous kalon band made up completely of legendary kalons of different types. Currently I only have one legendary kalon who is my boy Soren but I eventually would love to have 4 that would make up "The Legends". I don't have any specific personalities fleshed out for the rest of the band members, since I don't own the kals yet, but I do know Soren is the leader of the group who is in it completely for the music and is often known as the "dark mysterious one" because he is not the best at socializing with fans even though they all swoon over his dramatic hair flips haha. Also I'm still deciding what style of music they would sing but currently I really like the idea of them being similar to Paramore, especially their older music.)

Personality:
When people first meet Aria they feel like she is just a sweet girl who probably loves baking and embroidery, however this is far from the truth. Aria loves giving off the innocent vibe but she is really a bombshell. Aria is always the first to want to go on adventures and is one of the more rash members of the band, but her trust in Soren makes it so that she tends to take his side. She is extremely snarky and sarcastic, though can be overly emotional which generally comes through in her music. While she doesn't write the music she does help write the lyrics because she is the best with words, especially if they are savage. She tends to let her emotions get the better of her causing her to be the first to start a fight, though she generally lets the boys finish it if things get to dicey. As she is getting older she is calming down a bit, but that is really just relative to how she was.
Singing is her biggest passion in life but she never expected to get famous from it. Her original goal in life was just to work at a night club as a singer for one of the small rock bands and make enough money for rent and a nice drink. But when her old band friend from high school returned and asked her to join his band she immediately jumped on the chance. The group spent their first few years living on a remodeled bus and singing at whatever gigs they could land. However, now they have hit it big and are learning how to deal with being famous musicians, though they still drive the same bus as their early days.

Personality: Alicia is extremely shy and very quiet. She normally is alone and doesn’t say much, but when she does her voice is almost inaudible. She is very kind, caring, considerate, understanding, patient, vulnerable, easy-going, trustworthy and very loyal to her friends and family. She loves to play the violin and can be seen under a willow tree playing her violin to the critters who live within the forest.

AU:
•Alicia was born on May 23rd and had a rough start in life. She loves to learn and play her violin, her bloodline is “normal” Kalon’s, but some times (it’s extremely rare) when an Angel Kalon is born into the family. Alicia happens to be one of the Guardian Angels, chosen by God to protect the earth and all its inhabitants.

•Alicia never thought of her misfortunes as “bad luck”, though others would disagree with her. She is still trying to find herself and the place where she was meant to be.

•Alicia finally finds out who she is and is satisfied with who she is. Though she was hoping for something else, but it was not to be.

•Alicia finds her mate, Derek on November 25, 2017 and have been together ever since.

•Alicia learns about the war between Heaven and Hell.

•Then her “basic” information (name, age, gender, species, etc.)

•Alicia’s theme song and other things

These are just ideas I’m going to be working extremely hard to get her character just right.

If I happen to win her, she’ll be my very first Kalon!
