the stars where i live are absolutely gorgeous, and as i don't live in the city, the stars are visible almost every night. occasionally i'll get up at around midnight ( because why not ) and see if i can make out any constellations. the most viewed constellation in my area is orion, and his belt is extremely bright on clear nights.

do you prefer city lights or the clear night sky, and why?;; One day, I would love to go to somewhere that does not have as much light pollution. I've always lived in the city, and I've never gotten to see the stars. City lights remind me of all the waste of light bulbs and light pollution that happens, and.... they're just artificial lights. Nothing brilliant compared to the vast amount of stars, of galaxies, the unknown in space. I live in a more rural area now, but it's also becoming more populated, so I still don't see very many stars in the night sky. But I would love to maybe go somewhere without lights for miles as everywhere slowly turns more urban and starless.... and maybe see the vast amount of stars, the infinity beyond our own planet. One day, I want to experience that for myself. So I won't regret not being able to see them in person.

do you prefer city lights or the clear night sky, and why?;; I'm a huge fan of clear night skies, but I have a very warm love for city lights because my boyfriend absolutely loves them. Just a short story, he took me to the roof of his condo once when I visited and told me it was always his dream to bring me up there to watch the vast cityscape he finds enchanting. It sounds cheesy when I say it but I felt at home in that moment. It's a very fond memory of mine I knew I loved him very much. uvu
