UnderBroves is a cozy online pet collecting game set deep within the forest’s
undergrowth, where tiny bug-pixies (called Bixies!) build clans, gather items,
and carve out their own stories beneath the boughs. Trade, collect, and watch
your colony grow!

The game is currently in active development, and I'd love your help shaping it!

→ What's a Bixie?
“Bixie” stands for bug pixie. Bixies are small, animal-based pixies inspired by insects.
In the UnderBroves, each bug species has a corresponding Bixie version!

Monthly Adopts
At the beginning of each month,
users can adopt a monthly litter
and watch them grow! Trade your
duplicates to friends, or sell them
for profit!

Users will be able to color in their
own Bixies and submit them to be
approved! Once approved, they're
just as real as the other pets on
site, and can be traded, gifted,
or sold!

Mostly an art update this time!

New Content & Features
• Changes were made to the site theme across all pages.
• Users can now delete unwanted bixies.
• Temporarily removed the ability to turn off WYSIWYG on forum posts.
• Improved text editor for forum posts:
Added: Letter sizing, clear format, media upload
•Changes were made to the thread layout and front page.

• Preparations and planning for the first site event have begun
8 new bixies have been created in advance, several more are planned

Art and Assets
• Three new linearts have been added:
Lacewing Bixie, Lacewing Kit, Asian Swallowtail
• A new site banner has been added
• A new site logo has been added

Misc
• A bug causing forum text to disappear has been fixed.

Webdesign help needed!
The Underbroves is currently looking for temporary support from anyone who would enjoy helping design webpage layouts and UI concepts for the game! This role is design-focused; coding knowledge is not needed!

I am looking for help with:
Webpage Layouts
UI mockups (inventories, profiles, trade pages ect)
Colors and visual aesthetics

This is a volunteer opportunity. Contributors may use whatever platform works best for them (Figma, Canva, Photoshop ect).
All contributions will be properly credited and publicly acknowledged for their help.
