What are they proud about? Moiread sees the world differently than most - while many perceive their actions as individual choices made moment to moment, Moiread sees each action as part of a tapestry of the past and the future, with each actor having their general path set along a thread. One can never completely alter what fate has set for them, but can pluck and pull their thread and perhaps end up with the final state of the weft a little bit different than it was before. Her pride, then, comes from her ability to assist others in seeing the greater state of the tapestry. She seeks to help each life she touches form a greater picture in their mind, discover where their thread seems to be headed, and help drive fate into the most beautiful version of reality it can be.

A bibliophile at heart, Wisio is known for his grace, wealth of knowledge, and ability to remain unflappable in any dire circumstance. The latter is where his self-image is cultivated. Sure, any old catshee can gain a breadth of experiences throughout their life, and any can bury their nose in a scroll, but few can access these mental pathways in a stressful or even life-or-death situation as precisely as Wisio can. His terrible luck and penchant for inserting himself in everyone else’s business means that he’s quite practiced in the art of escaping danger… and everyone around him is very likely to hear him smugly expound upon this fact of his existence.
