Entry: Ribs encase the ruby, gem-like star closely, like an embrace, with wings that slip through the gap between. There are gold cracks on the gem, and the lightly tattered wings are red and gold-tipped (or vice versa if preferred) and shimmering.
Tell me a bit about your entry! : There's something precious in that cage of bone, fragile but capable of so much. It's endured hardships and pain, but it always heals. All living things do.
Caged, perhaps, but happy. Cared for. It cares in turn, reaching out strange arms for an embrace, fluttering along as though it's never felt heartbreak.
It has, it shows it, but that makes the beauty worth it.

Tell me a bit about your entry! : Legends tell of a great star turned dark born from the hopes, dreams, and nightmares of wermz long long ago. This star observes the cosmos with its great eye and records all in a mix of ink and wax adding more fuel to its eternal flame. While very few have ever known of the star let alone seen it, those who do find themselves forever enraptured by its beauty and oddity recorded in the flow of passing time.

Tell me a bit about your entry! :
After gazing upon the stars before their death. A Microraptor was reborn into the night sky. Tasked with caring for the stars and collecting the souls of the ones that have passed, storing them on their back. They fly across the star-covered sky, watching those below as they do what they were destined to do.
non "story" related info:
like i said before the creature i added onto the colouring is a Microraptor gui, a Dromaeosaurid with discovered pigments! they had iridescent black feathers :3 The skull shape isnt super accurate, as it was hard to get a skull reference on the canvas, but its semi-close to the actual skull shape.
Patterning is inspired/based off of magpies and the galaxy/galaxy themed things(as im pretty sure it doesnt look super galaxy-y).
The yellow is referencing that many paleoartists give M. gui yellow/yellow-ish skin, and that stars are usually depicted as yellow. Giving M. gui magpie patterns was also referencing/inspired by paleoartists getting inspired by magpies too!

This star has mysterious fissures emitting a blue glow. What is this blue stuff? It almost appears liquid. You better don't touch it.
