I would like to start off by saying thank you to everyone who applied; I loved reading all of your ideas and seeing the designs and reading about the characters. it was so fun to see people work personality into edits and vice versa, so even if I didn't name you for a specific shout-out know that I read each and every one of these forms and there was something good in all of them c:

so firstly, a couple of shout-outs to forms who piqued by interest, going by page number:

so after a brief stint of suffering and wishing I had bought about eighty MYOs,
I miraculously managed to narrow it down to my top five picks! in order of posting those five were:
lonk, Strudel, SilverSamurai, shadow9119 and granger.

I just loved your ideas aaaah. and that both concepts were based off birds ??? man I love birds
and they were both such beautiful concepts. I hope you see these two realized soon! I particularly
loved Carolina lmao

I loved that you incorporated your personal love of ice skating into this concept. it sounded so lovely
and elegant. and the character !!! I'm such a sucker for such well portrayed characters aha,
good luck achieving him!

aaaah man if I'd had more money, honestly. your concept sketch was incredible and, like I said,
I'm such a sucker for birds! that shine though, so pretty. I really hope you get him made soon!
he'd make a wonderful character <3



and finally, the winners!
yes, I know, the winners. this is what happens when I run a competition and don't have runner
up prizes. I'm actually terrible at making decisions lmao so I hopped on DA and bought a second
unlimited common ticket! I'm really sorry I couldn't have bought more, honestly </3

anyway I'd love to award an unlimited common MYO ticket to shadow9119 and an unlimited common MYO ticket to granger !!!

ahhh man that character though. I very rarely see old kalons and I just loved the concept of him; the grumpy bird feeding, the grumpier clock repairing. honestly in a way he reminded me of myself lmao. my birds are also my children, and I too would tackle someone who messed with them. and mourning doves !!! what a lovely design concept! there's a pair that nest in my tree out back and they are the loveliest creatures. I can't wait to see where Glenn goes as you develop him further c:

and this was just the sweetest concept ??? I've noticed a lot of people who base customs on already made characters have trouble differtianting them but you did such a lovely job, and I was smitten with the idea of all that hair getting in the way of him hearing. also I loved the idea of him speaking a different language from other kalons; that's not something I see often, and language barriers are always so fascinating to explore. I can't wait to see how he turns out (especially with all those hair edits); have fun with him <3
