Well another litter missed, I might as well give up even trying to get any litters cause I know it’s not gonna happen. Congrats everyone.

in my opinion a reminder wont help that much - even without a reminder the litters are gone within minutes - with reminder some more people can try to get a sweeten, but still there are not enough for everyone - so again there will be (even more) people sad and dissapointed because someone else posted like one second faster^^
perhaps it might help to make fewer litters, but bigger ones instead, we have a big community already, litters with 8 sweetens will be gone instantly no matter what

This would be hard for some of the artist and Tendo to do because it takes a while to make a sweeten, and it was already a bit packed with me making 8 sweetens, it would take us a while to make more than 8 sweetens for every litter. We are currently discussing on a way to fix these problems, so hold on to your guy's socks and please keep the posting down low for now until then! ^^

Unfortunately not, as that Sweeten was designed with the floatie lines merged into the lines already. Sorry about that.

Due to unforeseen events, I'm delaying that statement until later as I'd like one final discussion with the staff before coming to a conclusion.

A statement and some announcements:

A few days ago, as I'm sure you all know, some discourse broke out on this thread as a result of regular adopters almost exclusively claiming the most recent litter. Following this, the staff and I discussed solutions and here's what we came up with:

1. This is something I don't think I've been the most transparent on, and so I'd like to formally apologize for that now: for those who don't know, staff members, before this point, were given notices ahead of time when litters were about to be released, as a thank you to them for everything they do. This was implemented back when it was just Dragong, Satamoru, and I, and when Sweetens litters went by comparatively less fast than they do today. However, it was irresponsible for me to keep this perk in place when there's as many staff members as there are now, as it resulted in few users other than staff being able to adopt any Sweetens from litters that weren't larger than eight Sweetens. The staff deserve the best for all they do, but this was not the way to show it. I'm sorry.

With backlash in mind, this perk has been retired, and I plan to replace it with extending this feature to all Sweeten adoptees by posting on this thread while I'm animating Sweetens (or an artist will do it).

2. Litters with four Sweetens have been retired, and all litters five or six Sweetens in size are required to be low-quantity litters (now renamed special sitters).

2.5 Special litters or outcomes now include users that have not adopted any Sweetens from the prior ten litters. In order to adopt a
Sweeten from one of these litters, the quotepost from the litter you last adopted from must be linked in "Other." (to find it, plug in the codeword into the search function and copy the link from the subject of the post (will say something like "Re: ☀ Sweetens ☀ (Winged Kitties)")

This is not a perfect solution. This takes a while, and may give users with less Sweetens an advantage. But it's unfortunately the best compromise I can come up with to ensure this isn't abused.

3. Raffles are going to be more often. I haven't decided if they will be weekly or biweekly yet. Because of this, flyer Sweetens will be on hiatus for a little while and will only be raffled off occasionally when they return. I hope you understand.

4. The artists and I plan on releasing more litters and also are going to begin work on a collaboration litter that will have a ton of Sweetens, so do stay tuned.

With that in mind, I plan to release a litter shortly!
