Brief History: Raised as a human's pet, Jinx ran away at a young age, not sure where he would go or how he would survive. Two gryphons found him and raised him as their own in a secluded area of the forest.
While Jinx was growing up, his interests turned to war, as there were rumors that one would start soon. He began learning everything that he could about battle tactics, with the intention of not only fighting but also predicting the movements of the war so that he could manipulate it toward peace.
His gryphon 'siblings' became his battle partners, his most loyal friends and advisers. They were an unstoppable team, and they perfected their battle moves even as the war started.
Jinx fought brilliantly, as did his siblings. Thanks to them, the war didn't last long. In fact, it lasted only two weeks. Jinx became a battle hero along with his friends who had helped him.
As the years wore on, very few battles were started, and those were won by Jinx and company. Soon, enemies got wise and stopped attacks completely. Jinx began to fade away. When there were no battles, why talk of war heroes? To this day, everyone believes that Jinx faded away completely. Perhaps he died, perhaps he finally met a worthy adversary. What we don't know is that he's currently fighting in a war that takes place in the Underworld. But that, my friends, is another story entirely.
