Maybe just a bit more here, and a little more over there... Payton thought, chewing on her lip. Her brush strokes were smooth and practiced as she fixed up the spots she believed needed a bit more paint. She had been working for the past week on one of her favorite paintings, a portrait of a leopard with it's legs daylong off the sides of a tree. She had only just finished adding the color to the leopard, and had yet to complete the branches, leaves, and the rest of the background of the painting. She released a long sigh, and took a sip of her hot tea. It had been three hours she had been working on this particular canvas, and she should be finished. Come on Payton! If your going to open your on Art Shop next year, you're going to have to get used to this pace. The teal eyed Jellybean Dragon willed herself to continue her painting. It was definitely something she loved, but painting for too long got her extremely tired. She picked up her green and brown watercolors, and with confidence painted in different shades the blended paves, the shaded tree trunk, and the rising sun in the daybreak sky. The two hours it took seemed to fly by once Payton had started. She then stood back a ways and took a good long look at the finished product. With a satisfied smile, she leaned it up against the wall along with the other two paintings she planned to make a profit from in the market this weekend, then laid back on her bed, mind exhausted.
