The breeze spun around the cold tree trunks and swished Hawkedge's brown pelt. He padded over to Rosefire, said to be his mother, but other cats say no. 'Mum.' he asked. 'Yes?' she replied. 'I know you killed Squirrelpelt when I was very young and fostered me. But why?' Rosefire stopped. 'Because she pushed me off of a tree and into three foxes and--' 'She was trying to protect me and my sister..' Hawkedge hissed. 'Besides, she didn't deserve to die.' 'Oh yes, your sister is being taken care of by your mum's brother.' Rosefire bared her claws. 'I'm going..' he muttered. 'Where?' 'To find the truth.'

Firestar looked at Flamefang. She looked upon her clan, and then her deputy's green eyes. A small apprentice came over to Firestar. 'Dustpaw says her belly hurts.' the black kit replied. 'Hmm, go and see Cherryflower for some herbs.' Firestar replied, her green eyes glowed brighter. Cherryflower handed the apprentice a dandelion stalk, the white liquid oozing out. 'Here eat this.' Nightpaw handed the stalk to Dustpaw. She began to eat it, gagging from the foul taste. 'Hey, my belly feels much better.' Dustpaw licked Nightpaw's cheek, blushing

Rainstorm ran into the water, leaping for a small fish. She grabbed it tight in her jaws and swam up to the surface and began eating. Mapleleaf flicked her ear. 'Rainstorm.. do you have any siblings?' she asked. 'Yes, Swiftedge is my sister.' Rainstorm replied. 'Why?' Mapleleaf looked down. 'Do you know Buzzardflight?' Rainstorm nodded. 'Yes, he is Squirrelpelt's brother.' the name rang in Mapleleaf's head. 'Where is he now?' Mapleleaf sat down. 'Some say he's dead, trapped in the Dark Forest, but I believe he's more than alive. He survived certain occasions that should have killed him.'

Mapleleaf flicked her tail. 'Like what?' she was listening to the story. 'Darkstar, his brother.' 'But he's in Pineclan, and Buzzardflight was from Swampclan..' Mapleleaf was confused. 'Darkstar was born in Swampclan.'

Buzzard flight ran back to his previous camp.
'I want to return to my place as deputy.' he hissed at Owlstar.
'It's great to have you back.' Owlstar replied. A warrior ran back. 'Darkstar says we stole some of the medicine cat's herbs!' the warrior cried. 'We'll have to prove him wrong, won't we?' Buzzardflight hissed. The first battle with his brother. Cats told him that blood was thicker than clans but he didn't believe in mouse brained stuff like that. Sandstone ran over to him. 'You're alive??' she gasped. 'Yes, I know.' he purred, obviously seeing that she was heavily carrying his kits.

Darkstar used a belly rake on Owlstar. 'Get off!' Buzzardflight leaped infront. He was the size of an apprentice. Darkstar flicked his tail. 'You're alive?' he gasped.

'Yes, you would probably think I was dead, after you nearly killed me by pushing me down that gorge.' a lightning bolt of anger rushed through Darkstar's body. Mapleleaf and Rainstorm gasped. Rainstorm was only the size of an apprentice, too. 'Well, fight us, mouse brains!' Rosefire hissed from behind. Hawkedge sat in a bush in the shadows, baring his claws, waiting for the chance of sweet revenge on Rosefire's murder of Squirrelpelt. Both his mother's brothers and his sister was there, this ought to be good. 'Shut it, mouse brain!' Buzzardflight hissed. Owlstar scowled. 'Haven't you killed enough of our cats, or queens? Squirreleplt was nursing new born kits when you killed her.' Mapleleaf gasped. 'What?' she looked down.

Rosefire attacked Buzzardlflight, but he kicked her off. Mapleleaf hissed, as Hawkedge leaped form the bush, using a badger defence on Rosefire. 'DIE! DIE!' he hissed. Mapleleaf flicked her ear. 'Hawkedge!' she cried, battling. Darkstar ran at Owlstar and knocked away his last life. Buzzardflight was leader. 'Get out!' Darkstar growled as all cats left. Buzzardflight ran to the Moonpool, as fast as he could with the medicine cat.

Sandstone licked her kits and waiting anxiously for Buzzardstar to return, as he came into the Nursery her eyes glowed. 'Hello.' she blushed. 'Do they have names?' Buzzardstar asked. 'Yes, Treekit, Bloodkit, Buzzardkit and Sparrowkit.' he licked her forehed and walked out.

Robinstar looked down, sighing. 'What is wrong?' Cloudflight asked, sitting next to her. 'Nothing, it's just.. Swamclan's new leader is evil.' Cloudflight looked concerned.

'Where are you going, Snowpaw?' Cherryflower asked. 'To see the forest!' she continued running with Cherryflower following

Snowpaw sat down, stalking a red squirrel. It ate a nut, before scampering off into a large oak tree. Cherryflower panted, keeping up with her apprentice.
