I don't understand it either...like...who wants to know who your character has a crush on?
Sure it's usually used on the front page but couldn't the person give little hints of their characters crush?

I was in a 1x1 Warrior cat RP a while ago, and while it started off with quite a well written plot and characters, it suddenly crumbled into just an awfully written romance...thing. After a point, the only thing that happened in the RP was cats finding mates and then having kits.

I remember there was a rp in which the owner godmoded and all of that wonderful stuff
When I joined I made a very young character and they had made a rule that said that very young characters are killed by an adult within three days if they do not join a group
My little one didn't join a group and was killed off without permission along with two others
The person who owned one of the little one's got pretty mad and started to complain about the owner's rules and what's even worse is that the owner wrote in the rules that if you complain about any of the rules you were going to get kicked out
So that person got kicked out and I left soon after but left a happyish message because I didn't want to get banned because of the rant I would have written


I suspect that the owner was a child who found out they had power over the roleplay and used that power to the max

Oh oh, I remembered another one X3
In another Warrior cat RP, a person was playing a kit. When a strange cat entered the camp, the kit attacked them. The strange cat was basically a big, muscly Warrior and was covered in scratches from the kit, but the kit was left untouched.

I remember one time when I was in an RP with two positions of power, and both were taken by the RP creator. And these two characters were all ~~~intimidating~~~ and ~~~mysterious~~~ and no one could hope to beat them in a fight, so I opted for a character who wasn't exactly in their command and made fun of them constantly.

It was sad. Like, every time their power characters did anything, it was always emphasized that they could kill anyone around with their powers (and, btw, they were the only characters that were allowed to have powers) and that the other characters better answer them immediately and dfgjdlfgkjdlk.

Of course, you plant a character who cares not a bit for anyone in power and you have a rollicking good time.

RP horror stories... let's see.

I was once shanghaied into joining this Invite-Only with two others - let's call them A and B - on a different site. Under normal circumstances, I would've liked it a lot; it was my favorite fandom and I got to play the character I wanted. Unfortunately, despite the fact that I made it 100% clear that I was NOT comfortable with my character getting into a romantic relationship with anyone, A and B both made their female OCs fall in love with my character and I was too afraid to correct them. It descended into a terrible argument between my two comrades about who got to be together with my character, even though I told the two of them literally millions of times that I would prefer my character to not be romantic with either of them. In the end, A stormed off in a huff while my remaining 'friend' blamed the entire thing on me. It also wasn't exactly the first time something similar to that had happened.

However, it was also partially my fault, I suppose, that I had gotten co-erced into the whole thing; I was way too soft back then and didn't yet know how to refuse others' demands. Incredibly, later both A and B wanted me to join another Invite-Only with the two of them, and I rejected. I'm glad I did, because apparently they turned the RP into a 1x1 and it descended into such a riot that the mods actually had to ban one of them. x'3 I'm glad I quit that site long ago, and I'm also kinda happy I had such a bad experience, because it taught me how to say 'no'.

Oh man. I would hate to have two people competing for a character that doesn't even want to be in a relationship. My most thorough of condolences.

Oh gosh, I owned a role-play and wasn't strict enough at all...

people with 20 characters...
constant OOC argument...
users leaving...

at first I thought it was successful due to it getting multiple versions and one of the users even creating a wiki for the clan, but really, it was a crumbling mess of a tower. I decided it was a good time to close it when there was yet another argument.

Luckily, I learned my lesson and am now much better with role-play creation.
