"Wh...where.. am I?"

I slowly open my eyes against the light. It burns my eyes, but I don't care. All I can remember is.. gah.
I was sitting in my room, putting on a new pair of earrings. I normally don't wear earrings, but they were a gift from my mother.The earrings. I quickly glance around for a mirror, my heart sinking when there isn't one to be found. I lift up a paw, hoping I could feel for them, but I stopped lifting my paw when I saw it. What the... I inspect the glowing bracelet that had appeared on my wrist. What...? Confusion pounded my head. Except, it wasn't confusion. My head actually was pounding. I grimaced, holding my other paw against my forehead, as I normally do when I get a migraine.

"Oh, lawd you poor thing."

A voice startled me from my thoughts. I glared up at whoever was speaking to me, only to be shocked into silence. What the heck is she wearing? My gosh, have I been teleported into the 50s or something?


"You look a little rough around the edges. But that's normal, dahlin'. Don't worry your little head about it, kay hun? What's your name, dearie?"

I folded my arms. "Carrie Seed, not that it's any of your concern. Where the heck am I? Why aren't I in my room?"
"You didn't read your letter?"

My blank stare gave her the answer she needed.

"You've been transported to a new colony. On Saturn's moon, Tethys. Our population was too small, so your Earth leader gave us permission to transport some of your residents over here."
She studied her nails in almost a bored manner.
"But you aren't here for the population, hun. You're here for the games, ya see? And I'm going to teach you how ta win them, kay sweetie?"

"....transported?"
It feels more like captured.

Note about pictures: All the captured characters have been dressed in the fashions of Tethys. The only rules for the pictures is that they must be wearing at least one spacey item or an item from the space event, they cant be wearing 'normal' cs clothing (well, if it looks kinda spacy then its fine), and i would prefer that there is no background. Also, please try not to use any pets that look too similar to aliens, as they are supposed to be captured. Strange colors are fine, but I don't want to see, say, the alien horse from the hungry villagers thing.

Prologue

Saturn's moon, Tethys, used to be a utopia. However, citizens stopped having children, and soon the population dwindled. The head of Tethys received permission from Earth to transport some earthlings to Tethys to ensure the population's survival. However, the best that earth had to offer were for a different purpose. The smartest, the fastest, the strongest, the best at a certain subject were taken for the games. The games are a holovision show that is used as entertainment on Tethys. The best that earth had to offer competes for a prize. What prize, you say? Royalty. The winner will be allowed to stay in the royal palace for a year, living like a king/queen, and have mountains of riches bestowed upon them. Of course, the contestants were taken against their will, which will only make this year's games more.. interesting.

The contestants are divided into groups of two. Whenever an episode airs, two teams will go head to head to try and win a specific challenge. Those challenges can be anything, from collecting as many apples as you can to solving a difficult riddle. When teams aren't doing challenges, they are allowed to live like average citizens, but all are roomed in a special building.



TL;DR: Teams of earthlings compete to win riches.
