Competition:everyday when out in the pasture this little filly will store away some of her treats and hay, and when no one is watching her she will sneak away from the other horses to go towards the large Oak tree that sits at the back corner. This is where she meets her little sweetheart, a smoky black foal from across the fence who she has a huge crush on. she shares her treats and hay with him and likewise is given little snacks in return and they sit and share stories and race down the fence away from any watching eyes, until it starts to get dark and they have to part ways for the night. She always gets super excited when she gets to go out and see him and always makes sure to save him the best of her treats.

Beau was four months at this time. She was young but old enough to know better. Her stall was set with her mother and the paddock for when it was warm. Beau had known a colt from the paddock. He was ever so annoying. They always pushed Beau and her mother away from their grazing spot. She didn't like the colt, and she planned something to make them quit.

Once, she was walking in the paddock, her mother watching her. Beau noticed the colt digging up dirt. She grinned, trotted to the big tree, and waited until it was night. The colt was passed out, asleep on the ground on his side. Beau began to cover him with dirt. He was a show foal, so he would pay for this. When all but his nose was covered, she left.


The next day, the colt was scolded by his owner for getting dirty. Beau could only laugh every single time. This continued on and she is yet to be caught. The filly considers it payment for him being so bratty with his mother, and he has to endure baths along with mad owners. Beau in the end is satisfied with herself.

What she is hiding though, she's allergic to flowers, and always had to decline gifted ones, which she hates doing. Foals think she's a goth because she declines them. She pretends to be a goth sometimes just to hang out with the goths, if there is. She's kind and soft hearted, but most fillies don't see that.

It is a strange love that rules over Scarab's heart, one that she tries desperately to keep hidden from the other foals in the pastures. But she hears them, all around, in the skies, the trees, even the grass beneath her hooves...
Bugs!
Scarab has a huge obsession for bugs, feeling a strange need to study them, to get to know how they tick. It was an obsession greeted with disdain from very early on, even from her own mother, who huffed and snorted as she tried to pry her daughter from sticking her nose onto the giant millipede that scuttled up the stable wall one dewy morning. Of course, the other foals loved when she approached them with a butterfly or ladybug in tow, but when she approached with a spider or an ant, they fled. And so, Scarab must keep her little obsession a secret, at least until she finds a friend who longs to share in her passion for little creatures!

Ripley’s little secret is that she meets with the colt next door. Her mother doesn’t get along with his mother but her and the colt are secretly best friends. While her mother and his mother are away they meet up at the fence line. They have found a way to get into each others pasture that only they know about. While their mothers are out working, they will play and play.

They have secret meetings on Sunday nights to tell each other their mothers’ schedules so that they know when they can and cant play together. They wash their scents off each other with dirt so that they don’t get caught. His mother scolds him for it but he doesn’t care. Her mother doesn’t mind her getting dirty, she said its all about the fun! Sometimes they will even sneak a little conversation while their mothers aren’t looking.

She also has another small secret! It ties in with the colt. After every secret playdate, her feelings for him have been growing. He is one of the sweetest colt ever, and nothing like his mother.
