Welcome to the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project
Euphorian Thoroughbreds are a rare string of the Thoroughbred breed. They come from a single farm simply called “Euphoria” that has horses with mutated genes. These allow them to be able to possess any realistic coat or markings. Everything else about the sub-type is the same. Long, strong legs, a powerful hind, and great speed. Their eyes are soft and the breed is incredibly smart, if not a bit goofy. They love kids and have the rare ability to excel in any discipline. They can grow from 15hh-18hh, though usually somewhere in the middle.
The horses readopted through the Euphorian Retired Racehorse Project are looking for a new loving home and a new job. They’ve tried racing and have either retired or decided the sport wasn’t for them. Either way, they are ready for the next chapter in their life. Some of these horses will come with a little training already, and will have their new discipline already determined. Although others you’ll get to pick how they move forwards!

Lysander arrived at the ranch as a young colt.
He was sent to New Hope Ranch when he was old enough since his
previous owners couldn't take care of him anymore. When he arrived he was alone.
No friends, no family. He was afraid, he didn't know what to do.

When he was brought into the pasture a perky little sooty palomino tobiano
made her way over to him. She was so happy to meet him.
Her brown eyes lit up like a pool of honey when the sunlight hit them.
Lysander was happy, he might have a new friend.
Her name was Burnt Nugget.
Everyone called her Nugget though. Lysander gave her the nickname 'Nutmeg' and
Nugget gave Lysander the nickname 'Lysan'. They still use those nicknames till this day.

Lysander and Nugget were different in many different ways, you wouldn't
believe they were best friends! Nugget was a very outgoing mare who always
loved to make friends. She was brave and ambitious, always striving towards big goals.
Lysander, on the other hand, was a skittish stallion. He tends to get spooked easily.
He's afraid of any type of bug and smaller creature. Lysander didn't like having goals,
they made him stressed and he didn't like having pressure put on his shoulders.

These two horses might be very different from one another, but they make a great team.
When there's a bug in Lysan's stall Nutmeg will either squish it or carefully remove it.
When Nutmeg is overthinking things, Lysan will come calm her down and keep her focused.
They have an inseparable bond, no matter what they cannot be torn apart.

Friends at first sight.

Competition: Koran is a good friend of his.
Warman's discipline used to be in war games until an injury with tripping over a piece of a lance. He has since become a trail horse because it is easier on his sensitive tendons. He still enjoys going to the shows to take in all the action even if he doesn't participate anymore. Warman took a fancy in watching Koran as he trained and soon the two of them had to go out together for everything. Warman acted like a grizzled old commander teaching the bright-eyed general the ropes. On Warman's better days when he was feeling his oats and in top shape they'd even be ridden in practice together, as a team or as rivals. Koran improved watching the older stallion's tricks and Warman lived for the good ol' days. Retirement was fun but it got boring after a while.

Argo is a good grounding weight for Rev when the other stallion get's into one of his nervous panics. Often using his own body to physically block a visual thing that might be causing panic. They didn't bond instantly, at first there was simple indifference on Argo's part. He merely watched the frightened soul suffer day after day until, he simply offered himself as a quiet presence at Rev's side,
Surprisingly leading to the other stallion actually calming down. The two bonded steadily, the bond of friendship growing between them each day
