Show Name: Kalevala Chevalier
Barn Name: Väinämöinen [VIE-na-mui-nehn]
Name Meaning(s): This tolter's barn name comes from the Finnish word väinä, meaning 'wide and slow-flowing river' or 'stream pool.' In Finnish mythology, Väinämöinen was a wise magician who possessed a potent, magical voice. He was the hero of the Finnish epic 'Kalevala.'
Gender: Stallion
Halter: Surprise me!
Art: The small backpack works in strange ways because it is used as an aide. The bag will present Väinämöinen one of ten moths, each one specifically paired to a sense. He can choose to use the moth and sense to aide him with gathering information or go about gathering it on his own; he does not get another choice. The moth depicted in the image, Hyalophora cecropia, delivers information as a scent.

Show Name: Snowflake on Spring Grass
Barn Name: Vanmire
Name Meaning(s): How does one pick a name for themselves that isn't what they were born with? The name Vanmire comes from himself, having chosen a new name when heeft home. Born in a small country town named Agrye (ahg-rye) he chose two different words and forms them together for a new name. In the native tongue of the town, Van is derived from the word Vaniche (long night) and Miretrine (start of spring). Put together the name Vanmire means long start as to tell a story of it's own. The name pays homage to Vanmire's rough beginning in life and how long it took him to be true to himself.
Gender: Stallion [Trans female to male]
Halter: a soft spring green

Congrats! Moths is a super unique way of using magic and the name origin is quite interesting.
An RU [
gold champagne fewspot w/ emerald and peridot eyes] will be going to Seven of Sushi, your name meaning was fantastically written!
Thank you, everyone, for entering!
