It's not totally crazy. They're tasty. He likes them more than even fish, because they were the only thing he had for almost three days when he was missing, and they saved his life. Bumbleberry was half-starved when he picked up the scent of sheep and followed it with the idea that rabbits might be there as well. However all he found where dandelions. So .. He ate them.

"what the heck is this?" she mewed to herself then she pulled at one with her teeth but all she did was bite of a bit. So she decided to try it. She chewed and chewed and then she bit off another bit of the brown thing "mmm mmm mmm!"
and that's how Doespring ate her first potato. she went to that place every day from then on.
