melody has hope in the fact that people can adapt and the world can change due to one person. her girlfriend named matilda taught her to find love in her music, and melody continues to do so although matilda passed away long ago. since then, she's isolated herself on her island to surround herself with music and nature. deep in her heart she knows humans can better themselves, and the earth can improve its state. not everything is so bad, even if at the worst of times it may seem like it. she only realizes this when she's brought out of her depression with music -- singing and playing her guitar, ukulele, or piano.

the first song she learned on guitar was "blackbird" by the beatles, and matilda showed her each chord before melody understood it perfectly. it's her favorite, and she plays it whenever she's sad. she never stops thinking about matilda and always keeps her girlfriend in her memory. when she moved to an island in the indian ocean to get away from society, melody discovered the small birdies and adopted a tiny egg after it was left without a home. although her bird isn't black, it has special aspects to it. the white tern has a blue beak and milky feathers, one of the most beautiful birds melody ever set her eyes on. since then, the feathered friend has stayed with melody and flits around her hut rather than staying in the cage laced through her tail.

What is this kalon's "Wings"?;;
Science. iyla just adores everything about science. But the subject that makes their heart soar is genetics. something of how they passed on and of how they showed up on a person, to how they affected a persons mindset and possible outlook on life due to their genetics. one of their favorite things to do is to look at a family tree and see which genetics passed on and which were lost to time. Sometimes iyla will get curious about their own genetics, and will dig into the past to figure how they ended up the way they are, and the way the looked. And on the opposite spectrum they like to take their own genetics and someone elses genetics and see what their kits would most likely look. Whether their blue or the other kalons brown eyes would mostly pass. Would their own long fur pass on to their beloved kittens or their partners average or short fur would pass. Something about fantasizing about all the could haves and possiblityes just made time fly like there was no tomorrow for iyla, and they loved it.

Companion? more like compainon. the bird fell off a branch, and flew right into my window one day. I couldn't just leave him to die. I might be cold and all that, but i'm not inhumane. so of course I took him in, immediately i saw something was off with him so I think "oh he must have hit his head really hard i should get him to a vet or something" what i didn't expect is for this little grey and white bird in my hands to look at me and yell. but not just squawking no, he was yelling at me. coherent sentences. Gods i wish i had just left him to nature right there and then. but i didn'tI stopped. I stared. and then he said "HEy! answer my questions! or are you so dumb you can't comprehend a single then i'm doing??? darn Tall beasts!" he paused and looked around before looking back at me and then continued with his screaming "why are you just standing there! and close your mouth your going to attract some pesky flies!"

I had brought him to the vet. I had gotten him all fixed up and gave him to a friend. who gave him back within two days. I tried again and again to and him off someone, but they always returned him. and soon He became fed up with it all and screamed that if he went to another house he would eat my fingers or something along those lines. I was stuck with him. Once i got so fed up with all of his screaming i left him out in the wilderness, but found him cornered by a cat while he screamed for help. after that he stuck right by my side. sadly.
