Prompt: Neo had just moved to a new school, being the new Viscets, Neo was super nervous as she walked into her classroom, she glaced around puzzled that the light were off, and noone was there. She turned around clutching her books and binders to her chest. "Surprise!" A chorus of Viscet voices shouted. Startled, Neo turned around to see eighteen other young Viscets, all with beaming smiles on their faces. Neo's face broke out into a huge smile as the teacher appeared, a tray of nineteen fresh baked cupcakes gleaming on it. Everyone ate a cupcake and everyone came hip to group hug Neo. (My class recently got a new student, so that inspired me )

On February 18th, I will have been on this site for 6 years. A very long time to go with only 2 true friends. However, none have touched my life more than the one I call Kyyx, the one linked above.
We met at random by chance, with my comment on this post of theirs, an unbreakable bond was forged from the fires of loneliness and disparity. This simple friendship soon turned to something far more to me, as a sort of love began to bloom in my heart for them, one that transcended the concept of friendship. This would be our downfall, I believe, or simply we just grew apart.
We began messaging each other so often our inboxes were full of nothing but messages from each other. I never had it in me to delete them. We stayed up for hours, talking about touchy subjects, talking each other down from the brink of despair. We had each other, and we thought it was enough. We roleplayed to the tune of our favorite game, Kingdom Hearts, and the sisters Amxen and Kyyx were just as inseparable as we were. Page after page after page, they developed and grew, the stories we told with them our greatest masterpieces at the time.
Eventually, my heart began to ache. I found I had grown to love Kyyx more than anything. I needed to tell them. This feeling had been years in the making. I had to tell them. I made it my new year's resolution. So, on New Year's, I wrote a letter to them confessing my feelings for them. At the stroke of midnight, I sent it.
They blew it off. Never acknowledged it. They simply told me their new year's resolution.

My relationship with my... friend... is not one I like to talk about anymore, as it brings me great pain and sadness to do so. My punishment for loving them, I suppose. Get ready for a long, tragic tale, my dear.

Today was a very special day. Cora brushed her fur a few more times to make sure it was extra sleek and shiny. Then, when she was satisfied she looked presentable, she hopped off the stool and went into the living room. Her parents were still sleeping, but that wouldn't stop her. Today was her birthday after all. She looked around, and fiddled with her toys for a bit while she waited for them to wake up. She knew better than to try and peek at gifts or anything like that.
