Maybe instead of dying, once horses reach a certain age, they retire, and can no longer be used for breeding or competitions? o3o

I did passing away to make things more realistic. Since ideally, you can retire a horse from competing any time you want. Although in the game, when they die, their image will stay in the game for lineage refererence and such, but thats it.
I might put in if a horse is retired from competing they could pass an extra Natural Skill point or something on to foals.

Personally I like this idea better, i think what you could do is once a horse is at the point where you would say it is dead it could be retired. Once a horse is retired then they can't do anything but maybe rp. Then a horse could only retire at 25 or randomly between 16 and 24. I think this way you can still have your horse, it just cant be bred or used in a show. People can't retire their horse whenever, just when you were going to say your horse died. Also, like I mentioned earlier, if you were using your horse for something like a rp then it would be kind of weird to suddenly say "sorry, my horse died. That way, you can keep your horse.

@Tiger -

The character for the horse is still completely yours, so if you did want to RP them, it wouldnt necessarily be connected to the SIM. So your RPing wouldnd change just because your horse passed away in the SIM.
So as of now, I will keep the horses eventually passing away because i want to keep this SIM as close to real life as possible.
Thank you for your input though.

---------

On another note, all foundation adopts will be 4 years old to start instead of a random age between 4 and 10 years.

Also, please keep an eye out on the competition page as I will be updating the information about what you want and dont want as far as personalities and stats for each comp type.
