ready to hear my roller coaster?
Two years ago there was this guy I noticed in my year level, and I liked him a little. Found out he was gay apparently and yeah decided to give up any hope of anything ‘cause I’m not tryna change anyone’s sexuality here (I’m a straight chick).
Few years go by and somehow he’s gone from knowing my twin brother to being in my friendship group. Then another guy from my group told me this dude ‘thinks you’re attractive’ along with another one of my friends
Turns out he’s bi and now he’s leaning to females
But there’s more
He gets this really big crush on my friend and at the same time another guy in my group likes her. She was torn between both so decided she wasn’t going to get into a relationship with either.
So me? I’m over here confused if he likes me or not

idk if i still like a dude i had a crush on. Lets just say i found out he was a booty (not good word °￦°) and i freaking hated him. But i keep seeing him looking at me every once and a while. He has be moving his seat a little closer to me in the morning (usually he just sits in the corner). And he has also stood right in front of me. We know who each other is but we never talked. We also have no classes together, i just see him in the mornings and in the halls. Then there is another dude who i like and idk if he likes me, im pretty sure he does tho cause henis really nice to me and we joke around alot. We only have a club together every other wednsday but i have his contacts

So the other week, the guy i like told me to watch a movie. I watched it for the sole purpose of being able to ask him to see a movie with me in return. After I watched the movie, i texted him saying that i thought it was very funny. After that, i asked him if he had seen the trailer for a certain movie, and if he wanted to come with ME to see it

i kind of peed my pants when i sent that text, but this morning i woke up to a text from him saying that he thought it sounded fun and was down!!!! i almost passed out bc i literally thought that he was going to say he wasnt interested, or propose that we bring our other friends along??? but nOpe, he and i are going alone this saturday and im SO excited!!! any tips i should know? Also i didnt say the word "date" when i asked him so obviously as of right now its more of a fRiEnD thing but gimme the adviceeeeee

Aww I'm so happy for you, I wish I had the guts to do it. I would just play it casual see if he is into you, If he asks you to do it again you should totally do it if you like him! But if he doesn't there are so many people waiting out there for you, go get him! :3

My advise is dont get caught up that its like a date. Just focus on the moment. Its your time to share a moment with the person you like. Treat your outing like you're with a friend it is significantly more relaxing and alot less pressure.

Thank you, this is what i have been told by some of my friends too, even though theyre all equally freaking out like me lol. Yeah, i definitely need to chill because right now its probably not classified as a date thank you

Confidence, my friend! It is harder than it sounds, but the advice "fake it 'til you make it" helped me out a whole lot.
Definitely be yourself, you're the only you there is and there is someone out there who will definitely like that you -- more likely, a lot of people will!

For me, my anxiety made it difficult to relax and just try to be myself, and for years I avoided being myself for fear that people would judge me or just straight up dislike me. Slowly, I realized that there were plenty of people out there who appreciated who I was, flaws and all, and those were the people worth keeping.

Just gotta take those baby steps into finding your confidence, and eventually you'll find yourself more and more at ease.
