ayyy- i am so glad i found this thread, even if it is a lil inactive!! i'm super into inverts in general, but millipedes and centipedes are my thing! i absolutely love them, and i'm currently trying to get my little gay hands on a scolopendra gigantea. i also really want to look into getting scorpions and tarantulas in the future but getting a new species always kind of scares me because i worry that i'll do something wrong. so i'll probably just stick with my myriapods for now lol.

I have been keeping hermit crabs for the past three years, and I have nine of them in a 55 gallon tank with a 20 gallon topper. I have seven purple pinchers, and two ecuadorians.

This is funny but when I randomly see a spider in my house I squeak and am spooked but seeing these giant cuties I am fine. I think its because of the shock factor of randomly seeing an arachnid in my home. I would never own one of these gorgeous giants myself but I would willingly hold one if I had the chance. I will be lurking here and commenting as I see fit

I really like beetles, especially the big species like the Hercules beetle or the rhinoceros beetle. Their grubs are crazy big too!

I would *really* like to own a spider someday, but my dad has a fear of them so I can't get one until I'm out of the house, I guess.

I'm trying to collect all of the spiders on CS because I love the spider design so much :3

A question I have for any spider-owners here: can you take spiders out of the tank and hold them and stuff? I'm assuming you can but I do not know much about which spiders are safe and which aren't.

Ive had bugs and other invertibrae before, but im still pretty unexperienced. I have been thinking about getting a japanese rhino beetle. I need some advice, are they hard to keep? Are they crazy expensive? I'll do food/habitat research myself. I just need the basics.

Edit: it turns out there's a little baby millipede living in my pet frogs' terrarium (dont worry, the frogs are fine, its actually healthy for them to have bugs living with them) what should i name him?
