Annoying Things People Do To/With Your Pet(s)

Time for a rant!

Ok, I have two terriers, Mac and Gus. They have classic breed haircuts, so it's very easy to tell they're a certain iconic dog breed: the Scottie.

We like to take them places, as they're social fur balls. However, this thing always gets on my nerves: people pet them without asking. Like, they're not gonna lash out, but show some respect. Please.

Also, when people pick them up. Scotties have long backs, so we always have to support their chest and butt. But, people don't do that, and Mac has gotten hurt a couple times.

And sooooooo many people think that scotties are aloof and difficult dogs. Of course they're aloof. But they're quite easy to train. Lose the stereotypes.

When people ask me if I let my reptiles roam free around the house. It's as if they don't realize that lizards and snakes don't come back when you let them go free.

My cat loves people, but hates dogs. Which, Since he's an outdoor cat, If we ever have dogs come over (Once in a while, actually) we just throw him outside. Otherwise, during the day, I hate it when he goes outside.

He'll cuddle up next to you, jump up if you ask him too (He's practically on me right now) and loves to nap on your lap (Or keyboard).

The only problem is that sometimes, when friends come over (I wouldn't say my closet friends, but friends of my sisters. Funny.. My friends are either allergic or don't like cats) they'll try to get him to play when he's napping, eating, or outside sitting in the bushes. It bothers me because I can tell when My cat is agitated and even though he rarely bites and scratches at someone, I want him to go be alone by himself. The only person who I let cuddle him and pick him up and move my cat's stuff around are my family members. Including me.

A friend of my sisters came over and moved his food bowl outside so she could get the cat inside. Like what? No! I'm not even allowed to put that outside because the ants love cat food as well and it really irritates. I can let my close friends off the hook (but they rarely do that) easily but even if I warn my sisters friends or even one my friends or A STRANGER they continue to do it over and over.

Yeah, now that I see that it's really annoying. If it's outside, leave it outside until it wants to come in.

I love snakes! We used to have one but I cannot get one now because my Mom doesn't like them!
He was about 5 feet long when we gave him away!

Ah, I've never had rats but I think they are really cute!
