Killing pets for meat?! I could understand if you were starving hungry and were going to die and really really needed to, but if you didn't have to then it's completely sad and oh so horrid.

So much, Why pets, I wills not let ANYONE chop up my dog! *Hugs my doggy*. That is cruel, if you were starving and homeless with no food I could understand but that! NO WAY! *Slaps everyone who did that* That is ANIMAL CRUELTY!

Kuroyami: Some of them were bred for meat, I think. But I know in some places whenever they find a stray dog they kill it on the spot (strangle it).

I don't really care if they breed them for meat. Or find them as street strays. They are still domestic animals, and they are still being killed for meat. And that, is animal abuse, whether it is a stray or bred to be killed. Animal. Abuse.

I don't really care if they breed them for meat. Or find them as street strays. They are still domestic animals, and they are still being killed for meat. And that, is animal abuse, whether it is a stray or bred to be killed. Animal. Abuse.

domestic and domesticated I guess are not the same. I'm not condoning dog-eating. I just want to nit pick and say

rabbits are bred for meat and pets. those rabbit kind are domesticated

all of our farm animals are domesticated

other cultures eat/ate dogs. they served a double purpose

"at least they are making use of their strays, as brutal, bloody and gruesome as it is". they could do it better

some people keep chickens for eggs and pets

I think Gunia pigs were domesticated for food?

Kuroyami: Yes, they indeed were originally. But now people can live without needing to kill/eat them, so I just think it should end.
