^ so it would be better to let the deer starve, due to over population, and spred diseses to eachother, increse the tick population causing more Lymns.

sure there are some sadists out there, but I'm sure the most of the people do honest hunting. I don't think any of them weep uncontrobly when they take down their quary.

TO You animal people, how many of you live in the city? rual? urban? suburban? country? or "boonies"?

there is a differance between hunting kangaroos and lighting a dog on fire for 'funsies'.

why aren't you doing that? instead of going "I can't believe they cut open puppies so they can learn how to do surgery on dogs better, they have lots of sims to do the same thing, I have Barbie Animal doctor on my PC so I know better programs exist"

so, you also want someone to give their quarry a 'chance' by hunting it with a stick so it can kick and fight you back? that sounds a lot nicer than a kill shot. you know because it can fight back. Wild carnivores take down prey much gracefully and noble than us humans do. That is why they start gorging them-self while it is still alive. Because they are better than us.

so it is better to hunt squirrels
by grabbing them with your hands/gloves? what then? how do you dispatch it?

what about people who beat their dog? or leave it changed to a tree day and night?

I agree with Kuroyami on the second part. I don't think killing things is necessary BUT I'd rather they do it with a simple gun shot that causes very little or even no pain, than torturing. Yeah it might feel good to you that they're killing something with a stick because the animal can fight back, but it's causing way more pain than a quick death shot.

I still do not believe that killing any living thing is necessary. But it is better to be shot by a gun than to be tortured with a stick >_-

but what about parasites? those are animals, and living things.
what about insect eating your crops?
or worms in your, or your pet's gut?

OK. So that's a bit far. Parasites and gut worms, No. I do not mind if you kill them into the ground : /
Nor lice, although when I was little my mum had to convince me that when she washed them down the sink hole they would swim off and have a happy life down the sewer

Insects - I LOVE insects. Whether it is a little worm munching on my lettuce or a fly pooping on my hand I never kill it. I try my best to get it outside/ off my garden crops and get it to bug some other plant like a weed.

Look, if humans weren't on this planet, the animals would still have a food chain: the deer would breed and the wolves, wild cats ect would eat the weak and old ect. But, with humans on Earth, when they kill the predators such as wolves, that leaves fewer wolves to eat the deer so the deer can produce young without so many being killed by the predators; this makes a higher population so the humans decide they have to pack a rifle and pop a couple, which they wouldn't have to if they hadn't been shotting the predators in the first case.

People here who don't respect animals can't be respected by me. So i will say the classicaly anoughed end-of-story Holly Stormare saying:
