I just watched the last 3 episodes...

here's just a few thoughts of mine below. nothing really spoilery, but i've still made it transparent

can i say, i just love how the show ended with how it was started with the cookie cat song. it came full circle ♡

these last episodes were really an emotional rollercoaster. there's so much to say and process, but i'm really just in denial that it's over. it doesn't feel over. they way it was left off made it feel as if there's more to show and more to see. slice of life stuff

the corruption episode isn't what i expected, but it was sweet nonetheless. connie especially taking lead at the end was really touching to see.

it's just really bittersweet to see the show end. i've been with it since the start. it's been one of my favorite shows to watch and follow. the songs, the stories, the characters all impacted me one way or another. i grew up with steven quite literally. i was young when i began watching it and now i'm an adolescent myself, like steven. despite my denial about it ending, i do feel it is time to send steven universe off.

With the show being over, for some reason my brain has shifted back to all my ocs...I guess since there's no more episodes, there's no more fear of fanworks being decanonized, huh?

This would have added a lot more...drama to the ending. Actually, that may have been fun.
