Hey so I know it's been literal years since I've posted here but I had to say it.
Out of context spoiler (but still kind of big, so don't highlight if you haven't seen the new episodes!):

god, both of the episodes got me today. spoilers below

mr universe is just.. honestly yeah please dO vent to greg, he can help, at least a little bit. but the end.. holy heck, steven crashed the van. fragments is the cherry on top. like honestly?? i had no idea steven could literally shatter a gem. although, we do have a cure for shattered gems, so that's an up. did any of you guys notice that he had diamond pupils when he said that he's holding back?

the new promo is just. awesome. i really want it to be next friday now, lol

but seriously, heck to the yes i did notice that. he also became taller, maybe the same height as her?? also floofier hair like her. and did anybody else notice that the second to last episode is called "i am my monster" or smth..

Ok, here are some things I noticed about the newest episode after rewatching LOTS of times.
(Spoilers ahead!)
1. Steven ate a fish, so is he no longer vegetarian? There were plenty of plants around to eat, so I'd assume he isn't. Maybe it's just him slowly morphing into his barbaric diamond ways
2. In his "diamond" form, Steven not only has the diamond pupils, but his hair also has the same tufts Pink had. (this is more easily seen in the new promo, however.)
3. Someone else noticed this, not me, but in the scene where he summons barricades to block Jasper's movement, the star on his t-shirt briefly turns into an upside-down diamond. This may be animation limitations, but we've seen stars much smaller than that.

so part 1 of the finale was released on the cn app!! that's episode 17 named homeworld bound, so if you have not seen that, then do NOT read what's up ahead!!
no offense but what the heck just happened?? i mean of course it had to escalate cuz he was visiting the diamonds but i was still somehow hoping this would be like,,, at least a little bit nice............ esp with that blue diamond song it was so beautiful i loved it soo much and also seeing spinel again was really awesome but then of course steven casually decide that white diamond deserves to be shattered,,,,,,, classic steven,,,,,,,,, right????????? god this show is so good but like i swear it's not good for my heart smh
... that being said i cannot WAIT for the rest of the finale XD

i know right? i do feel bad for greg a bit. i was expecting for something to
happen since greg was trying to get steven to listen to him and tell him he doesnt have it as bad as him.
i was surprised he crashed the van. then with him and jasper, i didn't expect him to go with her but i
can see it now. i thought it was over when he trapped her then brought the spike wall and i was just
like wha- then i saw him run in with the other gems and i was confused but then it hit me he has cracked
jasper's gem. oh my gosh yes! he did have diamond pupils. i definitely notice that now. when jasper "bowed"
to steven and said "i bow to your power my diamond" i dont think thats what steven wanted as he said "no"
and the episode ended. hhh i wish next friday was now i just saw the promo and i cant wait im just dying to
see the next 4. ooo i didnt watch the newest one- im going to watch it now !
