Ah, yeah I assumed so! I actually have never watched Detective Conan so when I was watching Magic Kaito and saw the little kid I was like, "Is that Conan? Why is Conan here?" Can't forget the shock I got after finishing and seeing that this was a spin-off series. Now I'm kinda really into the whole phantom thief thing. It's such a cool concept to me. Maybe I'll watch Conan some day but it's pretty long.
