Highschool with a twist

Gaining a scholarship to Aqua Maria High School is like winning a million dollars. It’s the best High school you can ever go to. The scholarship goes to random people all over the world, and only twenty people are chosen every six years, it’s a scholarship that goes over your whole high school years. From year seven, all the way up to year twelve. Going to this school gives you the best education you can ever have. Aqua Maria high school is on an island somewhere near Miami. The school is by itself on the island with no way to other civilization. There is no way to leave the island nor is there a way to get there. So it’s like a boarding school. The school offers you the best subjects; there are the normal classes like Math, Science, English and Humanities, those subjects you have to take. And the other subjects you can choose from a large selection. Even though the school seems friendly enough, you would be wrong; the teaches are not what they appear, once on the island you may never leave, you may never fail a class, you may never contact your friends and family. Can you survive this year??

Rules
1~ All of Tess rules apply
2~ No God-Modding, Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues.
3~ No powers
4~ You can swear all you like, just star it out.
5~ Romance is encourage as well as fighting if possible but keep it PG-13
6~ You can be either a teacher or a student, real human pictures only as well please.
7~ You have to have all four core subjects, and four electives. I’ll PM you the timetable for your character once I make it. All students will share a class room even if they aren’t in the same year level. Put devil’s herb in red if you read the rules.
8~ Students have be from ages 13-18, 13 being year 7 and 18 being year 12.
9~ Try to be semi-litish, with good spelling and grammar. It’s okay if you get WB
10~ No fighting OOC, and use something to show me when talking OOC
11~ Try to keep genders even please

Personality: Kiyomi is softly spoken, shy and somewhat short tempered. Kiyomi loves to hang around with her friends and just have a good time. Kiyomi hates meeting new people sometimes, and she can’t read face expressions very well, so she is a little autistic. Having this disease, makes it hard for her to get along with other people, gives her the upper hand of being very arty at the same time. Kiyomi loves hugs, and she would protect the friends she managed to get. Kiyomi will try to always have a brave face, even when she just wants to cry her eyes out. Kiyomi had learnt to stay strong a long long time ago. If Kiyomi see’s someone crying, she will get freaked out kind of.

History: Kiyomi grew up happily with her mum, dad and older brother. Kiyomi loved her mum the most as she was her best friend, someone she could always trust. But when Kiyomi was four, her mum died giving birth to her brother. A few hours later her new born brother died as well. After that, Kiyomi became a huge cry baby, she would cry herself to sleep and she would always snap at her dad for no reason. But her dad had it rough as well, he couldn't take it, his wife and new son was dead and now his daughter hated him. This sent him to have mental problems.

Kiyomi's dad begun to bash her and her older brother, day after day, night after night. And he didn't even care anymore. He started to blame Kiyomi for his wife's death, even though it wasn't her fault. After a year, Kiyomi couldn't take it no more, she has toughened up a lot. The last night Kiyomi ever saw him, was the night she tried to stab him. Kiyomi had grabbed a knife out of the kitchen draw, but her dad used his size against her and somehow managed to grab the knife back. Kiyomi was then knocked into a wall, she had no where to run, and her older brother wasn't home to protect her this time. Kiyomi was then stabbed by him twice in the stomach. Kiyomi's dad than came to terms of what he has done as he watched his daughter bleed to death on the kitchen floor. In panic, he ran away. Taking the car. He was going to fast and it was in the middle of the night. All too soon, he fell asleep and went head on with a truck.

Kiyomi woke up in hospital a year later, she had been in a comer and the doctors though she would never wake up. Kiyomi's brother was at her bed side, he had told her everything that happened which placed Kiyomi into tears. Kiyomi's brother has also lost the house, he couldn't afford to pay for it alone, not on his job anyway. They two of them then lived in a small ran-downed apartment in the city. Kiyomi and her brother were happy again. Kiyomi still has the stab wounds though. Kiyomi had trouble making friends, she was a bit of a loner and was always called a freak. Kiyomi still didn't cared, her brother was her best friend for now on. At the time that all this happened, Kiyomi was only eleven

On Kiyomi's fourteenth birthday, her and her brother though it would be fun to go out on a road trip. Somewhere like the beach. Kiyomi's brother knew how to drive, as he was nineteen years old now. One the way, he took a wrong turn. Kiyomi's brother though her knew where he was going but he drove them off a cliff by mistake. On impact, the air bags, came out. Well only Kiyomi's did anyway. Her brother died right there and then. Kiyomi was still trapped in the car though. When she finally managed to get out, she had to walk back into the city to get help. But no one ever listened to her or believed her. Kiyomi now has lost two best friends of hers.

Soon after, Kiyomi was taken to an foster home, where no one would take her. Just before Kiyomi’s birthday, she got a letter, giving her a scholarship to the school. Straight away, Kiyomi went to that school, to start a new life.
