Welcome to the Hoenn region my fellow Pokemon trainers! The three of you will be receiving a Pokemon starter by myself, Professor Birch! With Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip, you'll be Receiving one of these Pokemon in my lab. Once you have chosen your new partner, I'll be giving you a Pokedex and 10 Pokeballs for the start of your journey. Now I've chosen the three of you because I believe in you; and I have high hopes that you will put a positive change in this world. I'll be seeing you soon my lovelies!

The 3 prodigies of the Hoenn Region have now started their journey together. Along the way they meet many Pokemon that they will battle, help and even make their own. They will train side by side and they will challenge the gyms as a team. As they believe their journey has been full of fun and positive vibes, two malevolent groups called Team Aqua and Team Magma have intervened on the lives of the Hoenn Region. These three unique trainers decide that they must stop this group if no one else will; and this is the start of their real adventure. With friendship, love, bravery, and courage, nothing can stop these bunch even if they tried.

* I'd like it if you made forms for the Pokemon you will be catching as well so you don't have to keep adding on throughout the role play.

* No god-modding or power-playing; I know we are suppose to be superior to Team Magma and Aqua, but there is nothing wrong with losing every once in a while

* We will be adding more to the plot the more we progress through the role play

After arriving at Professor Birch's lab with 3 other kids around her age, Sammie chose her starter Pokemon. Mudkip had always been her favorite out of the three starters and she was just happy that she was the second person to choose the Pokemon she wanted. The richest out of the bunch chose first, taking the Treecko, the other boy chose the Bagon which wasn't apart of the original three but because there were four of us, Professor Birch took one of his own Pokemon and put it out with the others. The last one of us all was a girl named Lisa who happily took the Torchic as her own. They looked strangely perfect together so all I could do was smile warmly at them.

"And here are your Pokedex's and Pokeballs!" Professor Birch says nice and loud, giving us all one by one, a Pokedex and 10 Pokeballs. "Now I chose the 4 of you because you all have something special within you that I can see just by how you act around people and Pokemon. You're all absolutely perfect in your own way and I hope all of you will get along very well for you will all need to be understanding and kind to one another or else your unique abilities will not bloom correctly." Scratching the top of his head he looked towards the exit. "Well I guess you guys should head on out and start your journey!"

As Professor Birch said his last words, Sammie booked it to the door, opening it and taking in a fresh breath of air. For some odd reason, she felt very uneasy while listening to the Professor talk. She didn't entirely know what he was talking about but Sammie could care less at the moment. Throwing her Pokeball into the air, a blue Pokemon with orange frills popped out gracefully. "Mud Mud!" he said, a smile on his face at his new trainer. Smiling back, Sammie Knelt down and stroked the top of Mudkip's head. "Let's give you a name" she whispered, stroking her chin as she thought. "How about Mamoru? It means protector and I think you'll be a very powerful and loyal friend that I can rely on." Mudkip simply looked at her and shrugged. "Mudkip Kip" he then nodded and smiled at Sammie with great determination.

Lisa watched Sammie and followed her example, throwing her shiny new red-and-white Pokeball onto the ground. There was a flash of light, then her Torchic appeared. "Aww! I'll call you Kate." Lisa was so happy to have a Pokemon of her own. She couldn't wait to play more with Kate, and catch more Pokemon.
"Tor- torchic!" said Kate happily. She waddled over to Lisa.
"You ready for an adventure?" said Lisa.
"Torchic! Torchic!" Kate seemed very excited.
"I'll take that as a 'yes'," Lisa said, laughing.
Lisa was used to being around low-leveled Pokemon. She had volunteered at the day-care a lot before, so handling Kate was nothing new. Having her as her own, however, was something completely new.

[Oddment]

Katsu stared at the PokeBall clutched in his pale, sweaty hand. This tiny sphere was the key to step into a whole new world, one filled with these things called Pokemon. The word echoed around in his mind, filling with possibilities, one of these ideas including the new Pokemon Champion Katsu... He gave his head a small shake, forcing the impossible images out of his mind and trying to bring himself back to earth.
In truth, he hadn't really known what a Bagon was. Oh sure, the word had been tossed around in his house a few times before, and he understood that it was a Pokemon, but he had had no idea what his mind was thinking when his hand reached down and grabbed randomly at the PokeBalls lying innocently on the table. And now that he was actually here, with a Pokemon bonded to him for life, he wasn't exactly sure what he was getting himself into.
"Err..." Katsu hadn't meant to speak out loud as he gave a nervous glance around the room, looking to see what the others were doing with their PokeBalls. The two girls, Lisa and Sammie, had thrown their red and white PokeBalls onto the floor, and were now speaking excitedly with their starter Pokemon. Slowly, he unfurled his now almost-deathly white fingers, and letting the PokeBall roll from his right hand to his left. It was slick with his sweat, so he found it a little more difficult to grip when he raised his arm above his head and let the innocent looking PokeBall fall to the floor.
A flash of white blinded his vision and he took a step back, startled. The sillouette of a blurred figure shone through the light and as he squinted, trying to see what he thought was his Bagon better, the light vanished as quickly as it had appeared and standing there was a small, pale blue dinasour-like Pokemon, with an oversized head and gray frills running from its blue forehead to its back. A pale yellow belly was just below his short arms, while he stood on his two hind legs and peered around at the new people. In Katsu's opinion, he thought the Bagon looked rather... Ugly.
The teenage boy opened his mouth, then closed, unsure of what to say. He had rather been hoping the Bagon would look more elegant. Katsu was lost for words, a thrill of excitement running through him, shining through his mild disappointment. It's a pokemon. A pokemon! C'mon, Katsu, there'll be more pretty ones... But you've got a pokemon! For a long time, the clock ticked by in several awkward, silent seconds. Finally, Katsu spoke, saying the only thing he could think of and the only thing that made sense. "Er- what's your name?"
"BAGON!" It roared excitedly, suddenly giving a jump and shooting suprisingly high in the air, flapping its tiny arms in a pathetic way before falling back to floor. Giving Katsu a childish grin, the Bagon proceeded to dash in a frenzied manner around the room, nearly knocking several shelves and complicated looking machines before skidding to a halt at Katsu's feet. "FY!"
Katsu eyed him apprehensively. Was he supposed to name him now? He had no idea what to call this over-energetic Bagon screaming at his legs. "Aikito?" Katsu suggested feebly. It was the first name that popped into his head, and was in fact his little brother's name. Yet when the Bagon roared in agreement with this new name, Katsu restrained a sigh- it seemed as though his starter Pokemon was now to be forever known as Aikito. He felt his face go red and started toward the exit, pushing open the door as Aikito dashed outside with another roar of delight, circling the other trainer, Sammie, happily before coming back to Katsu and wrapping his small arms around his left leg. The heat had not yet left Katsu's face and he gave Aikito a feeble smile.

Mudkip stood close to his trainer with a proud look on his face. He believed he had himself a trainer worth protecting and befriending. Glancing at the Torchic he frowned. Mamoru never really liked that Torchic. She was always so full of herself, thinking she was the better one out of all of them. "Mud..." Mamoru growled, hiding behind his trainer's leg. Though before he knew it, he was knocked over by the Bagon that Katsu had released from it's Pokeball. Blinking a few times, Sammie watched the energetic Bagon circle around her rather quickly. "why hello" she giggled, kneeling down once the Bagon ran back to it's trainer to pick Mudkip up into her arms.

Mudkip's face showed much anger as he eyed the Bagon. "Mamoru, I'm sure the Bagon didn't mean to knock you over. He's just excited to finally be out of that Pokeball and finally meet his trainer." Stroking Mudkip's head, she glanced at the boy and lightly smiled. "So you're Katsu?" she asked, taking a step closer to greet him properly with a smile on her face. "My name is Sammie. I'd be very much delighted to join you on this journey." Turning her head she gave a wave to Lisa. "I'd be very much delighted to join you too.. ermm... Lisa?" she asked, though deep down Sammie knew that was the girl's name. "Now where is that other boy?" she mainly asked herself, but aloud.

"Hello, Sammie! Delighted to meet you," said Lisa, while petting Kate's yellow feathers as she chirped happily. "I'm wonderfully excited to go on this adventure! It'll be so much fun, meeting new people and completing our Pokedexes."
Kate let out a half-chirp-half-purr and started hopping in place. "My, Kate! You are quite bouncy!" Lisa laughed. "I hope Kate is up for more than just cuddles, though... who knows what we'll encounter?"

Katsu withheld a groan as the small, over-excited Bagon barelled over Sammie's Mudkip with a squeal, then squeeze his minuscule arms around Katsu's leg. Leaning over, Katsu carefully pried Aikito's surprisingly strong body off of him and placed him on the ground, a few feet away from the other trainer's to make sure he did not get into mischief. "Yeah, I'm Katsu," replied the teenage trainer, blinking twice before swiveling around to face the other girl trainer with them. "And you're... Er..." Katsu racked his brains for several long moments- it was only when Sammie spoke her name that he realized what he had been thinking of. "Lisa!" He cried enthusiastically, the name which he had been searching for slipping out of his mouth excitedly. He felt his ears go a little red- he hadn't meant to say it so happily, and he had just now spotted Sammie's Muskip giving Aikito's extremely dirty looks from her trainer's arms.
Almost unconsciously, Katsu answered Sammie's question instantly. "Maybe he's still inside- playing with his, y'know- Cotree- I mean Trecoe- wait, no, it's Treeco, right?" His ears grew a little brighter but he managed to keep his gaze steady as he turned around to gaze at the Pokemon Lab. It seemed as though Aikito was not appreciating this lack of attention, for he dashed forward as fast as his small legs would carry him and jumped on top of Katsu, landing on his shoulders and knocking him to the ground, so that Katsu fell face-first onto the grass with his Bagon now hopping on his back, unaware that he had done anything wrong.
