How to properly Join and participate in a Role-play

Rules: (must read to join)
[1] Only join and participate if you own a Bernikesaur from the adoption topic THE LOST RIDERS.
[2] Although you adopted a Dinosaur, here you will be role-playing with the human character you created upon adoption.
[3] Please use proper grammar and spelling. I would like effort and thought put into every post.
[4] Answers/posts on this RP must be at least 5 sentences long.
[5] Please don't post any random comments, or say "marking". Only post if you are RPing.
[6] Please PM me your form, in order to keep this thread neat and concise.
[7] You may not control any other players' characters, human or dino. You may however control your own character and their dinosaur to do what you want.

I reserve the right to edit any these rules with no warning. Any major changes will be noted on my post.

Laws of the Tribes:
+ There is no one "leader" in a tribe: instead, the elders of the society give advice, which is often followed. There is a War Chief, and this man or woman commands the soldiers in battle, but he does not have the same power when not in a war.
+ The Tribes are Egalitarian: meaning that men, women, old, young, etc are all of equal social status. No one is richer or poorer than another, and the Tribe is like a huge family. If someone is hurt, the whole tribe is there to answer for it.
+ Usually riders find relationships and marry inside their tribe. It is very rare and basically a taboo idea to think of a relationship with someone outside of your own tribe.
+ Tribesman and women usually share resources with those in their tribe who need help. If a neighbor is low on crops/food, then friends and family will pitch in to help them out.
+ I am basing the facts and laws of Tribes on real-life tribal laws.

Mat'iri is known as the land of the Woodland.

There are a few hills in the land of Mat'iri:


But generally it's pretty flat, covered in a solid mass of brittle trees:


The tribe's land also has many clearings:


And the thick cover of leaves give the land a healthy, greenish glow:


And small streams lace along the Mat'larun border:

(I'll start, shall I?)

The morning sun trickled in through the forest canopy, leaving blotches of light peppered on the forest floor. The forest was quiet and still in these early hours, except for the muffled crunches of heavy feet in the southern path. Metallic armor glinted through the trees as they passed under the peppering of light. A lone Bernikesaur and his rider made their way back to a patrol group waiting in the clearing ahead.

Anastasia glanced left and right through the trees. from her vantage point atop her steed, Achill, she could see farther into the underbrush than if she were patrolling on foot. There had been very little strife amongst the tribes lately, and Anastasia breathed a sigh of content on this more leisurely patrol. Off to her right, Anastasia could see the fields in the distance of Mat'larun's territory, the grass yellow in the rising sun. Achill snorted, and the rider looked ahead once more. The other riders from her morning patrol were heading her way. "Any news?" Anastasia called out, not really expecting anything to be have changed anyway.
