You cried out in pain when the rapidly shaking box made you fall. All you really saw was nothing but eerie darkness. Painfully, you pushed yourself to your feet, and you attempted to find any kind of hold in the walls. Dread struck you when you found nothing but the sheer metal. No grips. You moved from wall to wall carefully, trying desperately to find something to hold onto. Suddenly, the box jerked again, and you fell over to your side, loosing your air. You sat up and scooted quickly back into a corner, and cried out," Help!!!" Unsteadily, you stood up and started banging on the walls, calling out several times. The box thrashed again, almost sending you into the complete opposite direction you were at. You slipped and almost fell, then stood up again and banged on the cold metal, crying out," Help me!!" Were you gonna die here? You kicked the walls, crying out in fear, when suddenly, the box abruptly stopped, sending you face-first into the metal, and you fell. Groggy from the fall, your thoughts cleared, and you noticed the intense movement had stopped. It was completely silent, except for your rapid beathing, and what seemed your heart pounding so loud it almost echoed. You stood up unsteadily, and leaned on the wall, exhausted. Then you walked over to a wall and pounded on the wall, calling out again," Help!". Nothing responded, except your voice echoed on the walls. You looked around, squinting your eyes to see your surroundings. It was quite hard to remember what you had been before, except for this...scary ride, and your name. As you try to think about what happened before this, a sudden light came from the ceiling, and you looked up. Shading your eyes at this light, you noticed some boys and girls. They were all chattering nervously and curiously, and some tried to peer into the dark box to see who you were. You stood up, and called to them, hoping they would help," Hello? Can you help me?!" The people's voices died down when you called out, and one boy peered into the box, and looked at you. He smiled a bit warmly," Hold on, Greenie!" He grabbed a rope and lowered it. Desperate to get OUTTA HERE, you jumped up and grabbed onto the rope, and other kids helped the 'leader' pull you up. As you crawl out, you find yourself in a glade. Hedges lined the edges of this area, with some bricks hidden behind the vines and lichen. You saw some openings too, which seemed to open to a maze. You look at the person who greeted you, who laughed, and said cooly," Welcome to the Glade, newbie."

In the Maze:
If you are to be a Runner, you must return before sunset. Or you will find yourself sleeping with some monsters ^_^
These monsters are called Grievers and attempt to sting the Gladers with their needles. If the Gladers get stung, they must be given a special antidote called the Grief Serum and undergo a painful process called the Changing in order to survive. Gladers who have gone through the Changing claim to gain memories into their lives before the Maze. The walls to the maze move every night so there is a different maze outside each door every day.
New things about this RP:
• Newbies are no longer sent every month, but sent whenever someone joins this place ^_^ XD
Things you will probally want to know:
• You could get banished if you attempt something horrible within this Glade. (A.K.A. Get placed into the maze as the doors close, then you 'sleep' with the grievers ^_^
• Some gladers sleep outside, near gardens or such. Though most prefer inside cabins XD
